Problem is they just pick the wrong words in some situations.
What I don't like is when PR tries to brush off problems as "Oh it's not really that bad"

Again, I know they're trying to be professional, but last time I checked it's a vast Majority of people who are not happy with the conclusions. it's almost Unanimous really, 9/10 people you ask will all have similar opinions.

Yeah This is just more of the same. They are trying to give us a bone, to release some of their heat.

The bone though is not what we want. We want REAL endings, notice the plural to endings, not just one ending with 3 different colors.

I'm not offended because I KNEW they would resist us as much as they can. If they do this some people calm down and our movement might lose some traction. We are not a minority, and that does annoy me though. Poll after poll says 90% people dislike the ending. He clings to the "Critics" who probably wrote the review and didn't finish the game, or is like IGN who gets revenue from EA!

I think they are trying to make us look bad, to the rest of the internet saying we have been attacking them, which is mostly untrue, we have been surprisingly civil.

So I am not offended, I am more dejected than anything.

I will still hold the line until they give in. Not one more dime until I get what was promised!

I agree with the OP completely. While I found the blog post to be the most encouraging sign from Bioware to date regarding this whole fiasco, it seemed a bit condescending to me. However, I don't want to harp on that point too loudly because it could just be me being overly sensitive and defensive over an issue I have a great deal of personal stake in, and I'd rather not look the proverbial gift horse in the mouth if this indicates that Bioware is going to "fix" the ending(s).

I'm not offended. I just feel sorry that I may have misinterpreted them when I thought that they said that I should finish the game... That came out really wrong to me. It must be directed at the people who have not played the game and are reading that comment. Lots of speculation indeed.

what insults me is when the phrase "artistic integrity" is used to defend how things ended up.
IF BW wanted to make a game that only THEY loved, why market it to the rest of the world?
Why say things like" it's your story" when what they really mean is "It's our story and you're lucky we allow you to partake in it". Yeah...artistic integrity is a weak excuse IMO.
You wish to sell the product to the masses? Then maybe it should appeal to the masses and not just you.

The second thing that pisses me off is this approach that what the critics say is more valid than what the paying public says. Lat time I looked, critics did not buy 3.5 million copies of ME3. We did. I could care less what Colin Moriarty from IGN thinks of the game because he is NOT playing it for me. I play my game, I decide what is good and what is bad. You can flash those fancy reviews up a million times and it won't change my mind.

BTW, I love the game but I do not care much for the endings due to the utter lack of any closure.

Exactly. A corporate owned forum=their game rules.

However, he needs to remember that respect is not given. It's earned.

But he is right about the need to be civil. We need to try and do that.

No matter what happens, it's not going to appease everyone.

I'm kind of hoping we get a "Rainbow and butterflies" ending, but that's probably because I've just become too attached to the crew and Tali I guess.

He followed the standard format for PR response from someone associated with a publicly traded company. I doubt any insult was intended. That's just how they talk.

This is a PR oriented press release and it read very typical.. I would not be offended by this. I agree with most, what he said was very acceptable and see no problem with it.

Well .. Each Li on the normandy count for a ending + 3 color. . Plus depending of your EMS..
