So I've contacted EA and they can't do anything (because Bioware maintains control on this).
I've contacted XBL and they can't/won't do anything (because they are just "a vendor").
And Bioware has been quite silent on this issue.
With the other two corporations, they have at least listened and are escalating upward even if doing so changes nothing. But there doesn't seem to be an effective communication channel with Bioware. Let's be realistic here; their scripted response has been "be patient" and then crickets since.
I wonder if it's worth considering organizing a class action suit to maybe light a fire under Bioware. Maybe this would get them communicating with their customers and/or moving on generating solutions. Is a class-action suit as an idea ridiculous? Kinda given the individual scale but when multiplied by 'n' gamers where an exchange has taken place... wow I'm actually considering this.
Even if it isn't viable this suggests to me Bioware has lost my goodwill... and I am not unique in this regard.
