In the span of the last few hours the the forums have devolved into everything the true Mass Effect Retakers have feared. Instead of coming back with constructive criticism & civil responses as the vast majority of the posts have been over the past two weeks people are coming out & posting personal attacks against Bioware staff members & using denigrating language to describe BW as a whole.

I get it your angry, I'm angry too... But going after BW like some hopped up 4chan troll is not going to get you what you want.

The Retake/Take Back/Hold  the Line movement got this far in large part because it did not devolve into these sorts of posts & discussions. If you want to increase the chances of seeing a real change to the Mass Effect 3 ending then calm down & start making posts of value, offering constructive criticism & reasoned response. If you can't bother to do that don't post at all.

The entire push back against BW could go down in flames because some people can't grow up, even just a bit. Before you post the millionth thread on how bad the endings are (And they are bad) make sure you aren't going to chuck all the goodwill the movement has built into the toilet.

Don't lose hope . Let's not forget that we are all in different stages of grief and recovery and it is merely a matter of channeling . Remember when you first became angry , if someone had told you to calm down it wouldn't have been as welcoming and you may not have gotten to the point where you are now to approach this with sangfroid . To such an end we must cultivate and foster the anger as it matures and as new anger comes in as more people finish the game . Let us make sure that all the voices are heard .

It is just a game. It is a nearly fantastic game we want to love, but personal attacks are not going to help and make all of us look like brats.

I agree with your sentiments.

To add, the attacks against each other need to end as well. Most of us want the overall goal of a solution to the problems presented by the ending. Yes, people want different things, and it's healthy for discussion to disagree. However, the personal affronts on people's views and on the individuals themselves needs to stop.

We need to stand together as we hold the line, and prepare to meet BioWare where they offer to be met. Let's continue donating to charity, provide BioWare constructive criticism and advice, and above all, hold the line.

Anyway, yes totaly agree with the OP. We should make our presense known but calmly and constructively. This latest statement from Ray seems to have wrecked havoc in here!

I trust things will come down soon enough thought. I just hope there isn't damage done to Retake until then.

We are all angry, but nothing comes from personal attacks and aggressive behaviour. We only will be taken seriously if we act reasonably and give constructive critique and opinions.

Stay civil people, rational and calm reasoning is our best weapon right now.

I honestly dont understand whats going on, BW finally says theyre actually working on it, instead of just listening and people go even angrier >_>?

Now thats weird, i mean, ive been angry at BW enough to want to..... do.... things to them, and one of the things thats made me so angry was their absolute silence about the matter.
They finally said something that was not COMPLETE pr and even so theres people angry....

Please someone explain me why ?
