I tend to agree that the Retake momentum got shut down after Dr. Ray's posting and things have spiraled out of control :(

I just wish folks would be a little more patient and not sling poo around because some of that stink will get on us too.

I wonder how many of the "yahoos" are just looking for some excuse to "ruin it for the rest of us"???

Note: Being patient doesn't mean that we stop "holding the line". I would ask folks that don't like the ending not to play SP or MP. If you are running out of time to return the game and you've lost faith in BW then just return the game BUT still hold the line because you can always rebuy the game / dlc / etc. once BW releases proper endings.

Oh great another "look at me" RETAKE thread. I am sorry, most of the edge that you speak of has been lost. What are you fighting for again, I don't even think you guys know. Why fight now? This has become a massive joke to the entire gaming community. All you guys did was managed to scam a charity for your benefit and bring a lot of negativity to forums.

People need to imagine if one of their clients approached them in an angry, aggressive, accusatory fashion, how they would react. Would you be open minded and positive to examining the problem or angry and defensive?

Bioware is being pummelled with a wide variety of opinions - there are many different thoughts even by those who dislike the endings. Expecting them to be super-human in their patience and to what they can achieve to remedy the situation is unrealistic.

They haven recognized the dissatisfaction, expressed a strong desire to provide some remedy, and asked for civil discussion. Regardless of what they actually produce, I think they're doing better than any of us would do in a similar situation.

I think most people are getting restless now, knowing that we will have to wait until April to get any concrete news. Not just some mystified "we are listening."

Maybe we should all take up hobbies for the next few weeks.

Someone in some other thread jokingly mentioned making over a new ending with Lego props. ^_^ I'd totally make that my new hobby if:
a) I owned any Lego toys
B) I had any modicum of technological knowledge of stop motion filiming and other, you know, complex 'how to make this and get it on da webz' things.

Someone brilliant should get on it. :wizard:

 That would be awesome!  ... and time consuming.  We should grab an angry member and sit him/her down infront of a box of legos with a camera and tell them to get to it!

I don't think raising $80k for a charity is negative.

Agreed, BW said they would fix it, and while my faith in them is damaged a bit, I still have enough left to let them try to make things right. We can help by explaining what they need to hear to fix this, and offering good constructive criticism. That is what they need right now.

We're losing some of the edge. Not entirely our fault. The charity is shut down, and at the exact same time Bioware who has remained out of these topics until now suddenly shuts down all of our threads with the best information. I'm telling you, it's them planning and plotting to try and weaken the movement. We haven't won until we get some definitive answers on if they'll change the ending. Concrete yes and no stuff. So as much as possible, this movement cant end. Watch if this thread starts getting too organized. They'll come in to shut it down. Mark my words.

Well its not simply sabotage, some of us have been here for more than 2 weeks. And after 2 weeks its hard to keep the same emotions, We move on even if we dont want to. angry people keep posting but the calmer minds find other things to do as after all life goes on. Yes i will keep posting and replying to posts but still I will not be as active as I was during those first few days.
That is a natural reaction.

activity here. is meaningless. Not giving Bioware any of my money is not. No matter what they do here my die is cast for the next 6 months at a minimum (and that's if I chose to give up a movie or dinner date to buy some DLC. ) more likely 8 to 12.

For what it's worth, we understand that the hostility and vitriol are from an (extremely) vocal minority. As with any such situation, there are those who take it too far, but it isn't reflective of the group as a whole.

We know this to be true.  The painful thing is that it needed saying in the first place.  Those of us that have been partaking in genuine discussion see the immaturity and, having no authority to do something about it, simply try to distance our goals from it.   The greatest uncertainty is whether or not the violent minority are actually being serious, or simply think it's funny (trolls).  In that case, although we feel we need to distance our cause from them, the final judgement does come on Bioware about where people's allegiances and goals lie.

I feel it's for this reason that good threads get closed down.

Eh, the personal attacks won't help our movement, but at the end of the day Bioware is going to look at their bottom line. Money is the strongest persuader. There are people like my BF who aren't on the forums complaining, but he said that he's done with Bioware. I wonder how many others like him are out there.

I'm just sad that it's all come to this. I never found the ME3 ending acceptable, but at the same time, even with all the conspiracy theories out there, I've never viewed the devs or BW execs as my enemies.

I trust Bioware, they said wait for April so I'm waiting for April

I'm up for reasonable debate and discussion but I have no interest in the countless well I think it sux!"!!!!! Threads that are popping up, they add nothing and only show the immaturity of the poster
