Yes I'm talking to you mr N7 rating <50 and trying with a character at level 15 or less and rocking your crappy SMG or Mantis on a class it just doesn't belong.

I seriously don't see why certain people even try to do gold with terrible gear/characters/experience.

I've seen players with level 20 characters and N7 rating higher than 100 and still fail at gold miserably.

So because you hop into Gold with garbage gear and a low level character and no game experience I'm supposed to go well this totally won't be a waste of my time, and then proceed to waste my time as we manage to clear the early waves with 2-3 people, then die before the pay off.

I don't have all day to play videogames, so when I do play I'd rather play with someone competent for that skill level, the tiers exist for a reason. Joining gold when you aren't ready to play gold is nothing short of stupidity.

Lol calm down buddy it's just a game. Just because you lost a round doesn't mean the end of the world. I mean you can't be sure how someone performs until they actually give it a go. No need to get your undies in a buch...

Joined a bronze one day and decided to do my normal thing with the first wave, only to die with the first bullet
Thankfully every one else died after 20 seconds and back in the ready screen it was suddently showing gold, that was a pretty nice facepalm moment wondering "why did it say bronze...?"

Same thing happened to me.  Joined a bronze game, said bronze in the lobby.   Hop down and go running toward the spawn point on wave 1 ready to Krogan Smash!  only to get cut down right away.   Rest of the team maybe lasted a minute lol

Is anyone here actually interested in helping players with a hand up? like assisting newbies get used to the MP?
I'm new to it - tried signing up for MP games at different levels - yes, gold too - cause I didn't have a clue ;) but mainly I get bored of waiting for a game search to complete.
How long do you have to wait anyway?
Does ANYone organise Bronze lv1-5 type games for peeps to get a chance to get used to levels and the MP gameplay? Hey - message me - let me know!! Cheers!

N7 rating doesn't matter at all. Only character level and loadout.

I feel no regret for kicking those people who joined my lobby, who, in the past, voted me out because I was top of the leaderboard eventhough I was the one who keep rezing their dumbasses because they thought gold was easy.
I would like my cookie now plz.

Being top of the leaderboard just means you're targeting score more than team success. Plenty of chest-thumping elitist wannabes flogging their score are the same simpletons who snipe enemies with a biotic combo set up on them, or waste time in objective rounds chasing kill after kill instead of aiding people completing objectives.

Whoopie, you have a high score, I was the biotic detonator all game, targeting the correct mobs to clear clusters of enemies, giving kill credit to the primer.

But you're bragging about your score, so I'm going to guess that high-level gameplay goes over your head.

you'd be surprised how many kids on this thing missed that episode of Sesame Street that taught you that in a game you win some and you lose some...

I run bronze with my <12 level characters all the time. I just throw on a sniper rifle and usually snipe my way through some cerberus bronze. I have literally gone through it with 3 players with N7 lower than 5.

Just search for bronze cerberus, Firebase White. Easiest combination.

I don't judge. I give everyone a chance.
If they don't listen and run around and die like a chicken with its head cut off, they're gone, but honestly you never know what your gonna get.
Could be someone that beat insane with his eyes close and who knows to stay close and he could be an n7 30 w/ a level 12
Don't care initially, only if they end up being bad

Eh, I have played gold without being too high up there and outlasted level 100+s with just my avenger.

Level=/=skill

As long as they have 16/17+ level and a decent class/loadout, I'm alright with it.

Exactly!
I actually laugh cuz i'll play with my friend who is a n7 like 30 and people will join our game and vote him and i just laugh at them over the mic. Not to mention me and him have been one/two every round because we have figured out how awesome an asari and drell adept go together. We made it to wave 10 with just one other person and oly lost becasue it was the 4 objective round and there were literally 7 phantoms on the 2nd one and 3 turrets

Or you had to carry your team because they were worth less than a small pile of dirt.

I'll kick you if you have ****ty weapons, or a higher character level that's carrying two heavy weapons for a class that you usually don't need weapons for. IE you jackass with the Asari Adept in gold with a Black Widow and geth Shotgun.

I'd rather have this piles if dirt then an ignorant cocky "know it all" any day it's just a game. Big deal...

I don't regret being kicked from a Gold game, honestly. Usually it means the people doing the kicking don't think their playstyle will fit with my class, or they're incredibly uppity.

Either way, I don't want to play with them and finding another lobby is much faster than slogging through a horrible game.

to think these people play money to play with piles of dirt now-a-days. when i was a kid it was free i just had to go outside and grab a stick.

To be totally honest, it sounds like you're more concerned with winning or looking like a total bad-ass (I bet you spam Nova as a Vanguard, don't you?) than having fun. Frankly, I'd rather lose with someone I enjoy playing with and talking to than win and have to listen to you moderate my performance the entire time.

Sure it makes sense to actually be prepared for the challenge you're about to undertake. Explaining to someone why you kicked them if they asked is all well and good, but to just come out and be like "oh fyi on why I'm booting your n00b ass" about stuff that no one cares or asked about does make you look like a fatheaded jerk.

The amount of elitism that goes on in this game's multiplayer is ridiculous.

And it's a Co-Op game too.
