Oh, and you can also figure out Vaughan's mettle by asking him what the elven uprising was about. My human noblewoman heard him say something about animals thinking they are people and that was all she needed to hear.

Interestingly, he seems to have enough sense not to say this to elf characters, since my dwarf got that response but my (elf) mage didn't...

Also, I murder knife'd him both times so far. He got away with raping Shianni in every other origin, and I'm not letting that fly.

I'd actually nominate Vaughn for "most satisfying kill"

I let him rot the first time through for talking bad about the elves. He's died everytime since and will now ALWAYS die.

I let him live in my first playthrough, seeing as I didn't know how much his vote matters in the landsmeet.

Ah, he probably figures another human noble will agree with him.  Sadly, that's not a big gamble on his part.

Killing Vaughn there (or in the CE origin) reminds me of conversations with Zev and Lel, the ones where they talk about actually enjoying the killing, sinking a blade into someone, etc.  One of the three most enjoyable kills in the game for me, and so very, very satisfying.  Posted Image

I let him out. I support his 'Elves are animals' views.

The rape, not so much. But you dont hear about that unless your a city elf.

I set him free.

He's useful at the Landsmeet and since I have some favors with the future king/queen, he wont' stay free for long...MWHAHAHAHA!

My first playthrough was CE so he's died on all of my playthroughs. I tried to let him live once, but just the thought about him living made me feel dirty and killed him anyway.

Most satisfying kill in the game by far.

Well, being one of those people who chose City Elf as their first origin, I ended up having an unconscious hate for the guy on my next runs. It's just so hard not to kill the guy, being as despicable as he is D:

I figure he'll suffer a lot more if I let everyone else out of jail and then tell people that no one was left down there. A slow, painful death by dehydration is about what he deserves. It's not as immediately satisfying as hacking him to bits, though. And you can't tell him that's what you're going to do, which would have been perfect.
