After playing through the mass effect 3 campaign as fully as I could, I found out that i didn't get the afor-mentioned Achievement/Trophy. After looking this up on the internet for a bit i found out that it needs the multiplayer galaxy at war rating higher to increase your readyness which it doesn't mention in the description.
I was aware of this achievement/trophy when I went through the game and tried to get all the resources I could from the galaxy and didn't do any multiplayer thinking that it wasn't needed for it .
Which got me thinking is there any point in getting the resources after you have past the minimal point if your not going to do any multiplayer?
Also is there any point collecting Paragon/Renegade points since it doesn't really affect the ending. It only seems to affect the Quarian/Geth situation (if you "won" Tali in mass effect 2, so if not there is no point) and seems to have been changed into a occational interactive cutscene moments, taking away the whole point of them in Mass Effect 2?

I didnt have any multiplayer done when I got the achieve, but I did have geth and quarian fleets and had 100% of all the planets scanned...

My best bet is that you used a fresh save instead of creating a new one through a Mass Effect 2 save.
