Personally, it would be awesome to see more content regarding the ending and overall story. I say this because there is no such thing as too much Mass Effect. What would not be be good is if Bioware just capitulated to please people. IMO the content has to reflect what they want as well. If they can do this, then great. What I don't like about the whole controversy is how some people feel they can just crap on Bioware as if they were themselves hurt. That view is just a distorted reality.
All things considered, ME does deserve a "better" ending, but only if that is what the creators want as well. Fans should always provide feedback, but the line is drawn at bad behaviour. Constructive does not mean inflammatory or anything resembling 90% of the internet.
On the other side of the coin... we will now have people against the new plans.
