top comment: Shep kills Mordin with a Carnifex. The very pistol Mordin gave him "in good faith" on Omega.

I would say recruiting Morinth is the closest thing you can come to an evil act in the whole series. The rest is more in the grey area for me.

My canon shepard is mainly paragon but with some tough choices mixed in, and I had a serious problem with curing the genophage. I just dont think Wrex and Eve can keep a whole race from starting the Krogan Rebellion all over again. Of all decisons this is the one I struggled with the most (apart from A B or C for an ending, because none made sense). But all in all several great sad moments in the game, Mordin and Talis deaths respectively being among the best. Mirandas is also quite good.

I have a hard time with the renegade options like this.
Which is strange because I loved playing dark side on KOTOR

What happens after you kill Mordin is pretty bad too.

What is the life of one elderly salarian compared to the millions of lives that could be lost if another Krogan War was started? :-P

WHO would do this????

How could they have this level of choice in the game... and then give us those endings?

How could they make such a meaningful set of scenes for Mordin and then overwrite them at the end with garbage?

Oh wait.  Bioware can do wrong since they made art.  Bioware is the wronged party and tells us off in the apology letter.    >.<

Apparently in me2 you could choose not to give tali a hug when she finds her dad dead.

I... I just..... Oh God.... Who would do that?

Aw, god, I felt evil just for watching the quarian flotilla getting wiped out. And that was a mistake on my part when I chose the dialogue...

Shooting Mordin? No way in hell, a part of me would die a little.

Mordin's death is kind of justifiable depending on your viewpoint and in-game story. Wreav leading the krogan and stuff, risking a definite rebellion. But the above is basically unexcuseable. Samara kills herself so she doesn't have to kill her daughter, and Shepard kills her just because. Ardat Yakshi or not she's not dangerous.

I can't believe how amazing that is.  Horrible, but amazing.

How could they have put this much effort into the game and then just phoned in the ending.

How much longer can they defend the idiot who got put in charge of the finale?

Shepard is fighting for the entire galaxy, including the entire human race. Killing Mordin is evil, but it was necessary to secure the support of both the Salarians and the Krogan while also ensuring the Krogan would not be able to threaten the galaxy after the war (which turned out not to be an issue, lol). Sometimes the greater good requires a little evil. The "paragon" answer to this situation nets you less war assets. In game terms, you're measurably wrong to NOT kill Mordin.

This is the part in my argument where I come up with an amazing hypothetical, probably involving baby Hitler. However, I'm tired so imagine I say something awesome and we'll go with that.

My biggest emotional termoil moment was accidently getting Kelly Chambers to kill herself.  I felt it was right to tell her off... but as a normally pure paragon player, it was rough to hear what she did after our conversation.

even on my renegade save I couldn't recruit morinth (and I had planned on it to get dominate)

Oh, damn, I had forgotten about that possible outcome. In my playthrough Cerberus killed her because she said who she was... I felt bad because I didn't tell her to change her name or something. Then I figured that given the fact that most of the people in the Citadel die anyway, there was nothing I could do about that.

I can never side with the Geth. Hearing Tali's sobbing is just downright depressing for me that I can't function for 10 minutes after hearing it.

i think siding with the geth and having tali kill herself was sadder

also if you don't do jacks mission she becomes a cerberus phantom and there's a audio log of her being tortured on TIM ship.

This is why I play Paragon, these outcomes would strip the fun away from this game for me

Lol? Neither of those options are renegade. Killing the geth is the renegade option their actually. Or saving both by yelling at gerrel. Not doing a mission =/= renegade.... thought that one was pretty obvious.

I was talking about Tali killing herself. But Loyalty missions do get you paragon points, so... there you go

I screamed at my monitor before I saw the Paragon interrupt, it was so heartbreaking

I let the Rachni queen go and thought it meant Grunt would die. I was basically in tears and then almost injured myself jumping out of my chair when he showed up all bloody.

ugh moments like that are why I love bioware.

Same! Seeing him come out was like... YES! Not ALL my ME2 teammates have to die!
