I recently finished Dragon Age and while I enjoyed it quite a bit I found one of the characters that you could add to your party especially lacking in abilities. The Mabari Warhound is a one trick pony with zero utility outside of battle.

So, what I propose to do is to create a new character with its own distinct class to either replace the Mabari entirely or to be added as an addtional character that the player can add to their pool of party members. Specifically I would like to create the class Dragon because, well, dragons are cool and the Mabari is boring.

The only problem is that I'm not really a programmer and I haven't used such a complex editor before this. About the most advanced thing I have done with programming in the past few years was to create a "Hello World" program. Not very sophisticated. So, while I have no problem filling out the character info with the character name, model, etc. I'm not really sure where to go from there. I haven't really seen anything on the forum so far that deals with outright creation of character and class combinations, so I'm not sure what I should be doing to advance this goal of mine.

Any help would really be appreciated.

I'll second that.  It would be very nice to have a step by step tutorial on how to create a customized character class/class combination ( e.g. warrior/mage, rogue/mage, etc. ), once the 1.02 game patch and toolset update are released.
