Well, it is fairly clear at this point that Mr Hudson's old comments about "co-creating" the game with the players was simply a lie. The players have supplied plenty of feedback which has been dutifully ignored. I find it interesting that Forbes has been picking up on this schism between Bioware and its customers mostly because when one looks at EA's stock value, the release of ME3 did not produce any sort of bump in price - it has been continuing to slide down. Funny that the release of a game for a well-known franchise such as ME did nothing to help their stock value...

He should sue them for artistic violation, even if he discarded the ideas himself as old hat and rubbish - which they are - they're still his own expressed ideas. When you throw out your rubbish, it's still your rubbish, no one can steal it from you.

Naah, I feel sorry for screwoffreg (being so extremely accurate)  :crying:

And, of course I feel sorry for everyone who has felt the same about the end.

I didn't think it needed saying, Obviously it does.

These kind of ending have been done to death and it wasn't satisfying the first time

2001 ended and i was like... space baby... can i have the last five hours of my life back?

Deus Ex ended and i was like... K?

when Human Revolution came out i was like "Well **** this ****!"

apparently, you never read 2001...  it was much better than the movie.  not to mention...  Arthur C Clarke's Star Child was the very first Star Child and not this starbrat we have in front of us.  Dave was an evolved being of pure thought - his evolution accelerated by the Monolith.  in the book, humanity's evolution is jump-started by the Monolith on Earth.  not an AI-hologram-Reaper-Citadel representation given 14 lines to try to explain...  whatever that crap was.

people have written theses about 2001 (myself included).  i think the only thesis to be written about ME3 will be about how badly it ripped off so many other franchises and got away with it...  (not me).

I'd imagine Scewoffreg curling up into a fetal position when he/she beat the game.

What they should have done was take the KOTOR route!! Shepherd is actually a reaper and doesn't realize it, that's why he can beat any enemy with only a squad of 3. Except in KOTOR you could actually win, so I guess once Shepherd realizes that he's a reaper he either has to embrace his destiny of galaxy domination or die trying to fight his destiny.

Screwoffreg, the great prophet of our time must not be forgotten!
He saw the sh*t waiting for us at the end and tried to warn us. But we didn't listen.

Its funny to see posts like that and then hear Mr Hudson and others try to claim that "they didn't know the customers wanted X, Y, Z". I guess Mr Hudson and crowd have a long history of not paying attention to their customers.

My theory is that Screwoffreg was indoctrinated, made his way to Earth and that we encountered him as Marauder Shields...  His one last, valiant attempt to save us all...
