Is there anyone that has stuck with this voice style at all?
Or has everyone done the same as me ie picked "violent" thinking "ohh you can pick VIOLENT as a voice, ill take that for my new dps character!"
Spent a while getting your characters hair, face, skin, eyes etc just right, picked "voilent" and then after a long time creating your character got in game, stated fighting and then.....
Quickly deleted that character to start again due to the "ladder on the back" line?
Would you like a ladder so you can get off my back?!

I've deleted three because of it. Each time, I thought I could handle it, but I had to turn back.

Yes, I have deleted a character because she said that all the time. She was my rogue, so she was the one I had to use to open chests and locks. Therefore I heard it constantly.

I used that voice for my brand rogue. Never ever again.
:-( So annoying.

Yes. I have it for my Dwarf character. It's the Violent style and it annoyed me so much I have to turn the sound completely off.

you should really try the experienced voice out for the aggressive voice.
it says things like 'on it!' 'this should be easy enough' 'lets get this started' and stuff like that.

For females i use either wise wich is really good, or mystical wich is a little more "evil-ish" than wise and still decent.
For males ive always used experienced, my favourite is female wise though.
Shame that "violent" ends up with just "ladder to get off my back" or "alright! alright!" repeatdly.
If they had made violent shout at the targets your killing rather than the player controlling, it might of been good.

Actually I kinda liked it. It seemed to fit my character better than the rest (except for the whole 'alright! ALRIGHT!' line - seemed to be just as out of place as 'I will DESTROY you!'

"Would you like a ladder?" is the new "Enchantment?"

Played trough with that voice set, it got old, but it was manageable. I doubt i'll ever take it again, though.

Once I picked experienced which was ok the other cocky which was annoying but overall there should have been more work put into them considering the quality of the rest of the games VA.

For the females, I do enjoy the 'sultry' voiceset because I love anything that Summer Cree does. :-D
For the males, I would have to either go with 'wise' or 'experienced' as my choice.

The line is brilliant, imho. My elven mage has the soundset and it fits him well, I just love the voice and the way it is said
I pick every deathroot/elfroot I can find just to hear it in fact

So when will we see a mod that brings the cool Planescape voices in?
Vhailor or Da'akon's voices are far superior to those supplied for the PC in DAO, which is surprising considering the voice talent for the NPC's is so good.
Even a couple of the voice sets in BG2 eg "and the Hells come with me!" would be a nice addition.
