I actually laughed the first time I heard the ladder comment. I'm still playing with that voice and enjoy it. I always picked the female voice in NWN2 that said "blood makes the grass grow".

I loved that line and never got tired of it. Isn't she the voice that also screams, "Fight, fight fight!"?

The ladder line makes me want to punch my monitor every time...Whoever thought that was funny or clever needs a swift kick in the nuts.

Wow...if I thought like a lot of you I couldn't play Dragon Age at all. Damn near everybody irks me when switching characters to do stuff like heal injuries (especially Morrigan's "What?!") and part of me thinks the game looks down on me for not letting the AI control them but deleting a character because of that? *in David and Tamron's voice* NOOO WAAAY!!!.

Though one has to wonder why the developers would make the game diss you while you play it?

I really like the violent voice set for my dwarf rogue, but I agree, the ladder comment became annoying really fast. What sold me on it during CC was a part that goes, "don't be foolish", which I have YET to hear during the game...

I would even accept the ladder comment, if it were not over done so much. To me it's the best set out of the bunch, next to experienced, for the dwarf females.

I instead get the problem of choosing a voice at all. After spending 10 minutes or so in shaping the chin, cheeks, jaw, etc. I just forget to make a nice pose for the portrait and giving the character a desirable voice... :/

Frustrating to redo a character after playing through the first 30 minutes with it, because of those things... I'm a passionate character designer, thus Sten approves (+1)!

The name of the XML file is your character's name .xml and the voice line is near the beginning. Do a search for SoundSet=

Anyone have a list of all the soundsets for all the characters?

Got to admit that line does get a bit irksome, but I ain't deleting my character just because of that, besides a lot of the other lines for the 'violent' one are so good and so fitting my bullish dwarf commoner.

Now if only I could get a Sandal voiceset for my other dwarf commoner rogue (whom is my current avatar ;) ), called him "Flipflop"

Trying to remember which voice I used, the thing that irked me about a lot of the dwarf male voices is that they all sound old, whereas of course my character isn't.

Hmm, imagine "Would you like a ladder..." replaced with "Enchantment?" would that get on peoples nerves?
