C) NOT DESTROYING THE MASS RELAYS!!!!:
I cannot stress this enough, part of what made this ending SO bad was the destruction of the mass relays, and stranding people and condemning them to a galactic holocaust of starvation, disease and death. With the reapers having torn up the majority of the galaxy, and no relays, this pretty much has destroyed galactic civilization, and pretty much the reapers win in any case. I think out of all these points, this is the one that needs to be reversed no matter what, because at least with the relays people can rebuild, and more importantly Bioware can have the option of making new games in the ME universe, especially the MMO they are interested in making. WithOUT the relays, this is impossible, and I don't know WHY Bioware hasn't realized this.

This 100 x times now I know they may or may not go supernova but it doesnt change the fact that you have millions of ships over earth going well this is great we dead. then other palanets/stations across the galaxy that depended on them are now going to die/starve.

In my eyes seeing them going kinda makes the imagnation part pointless. I know they want us to speculate what happens next but with no relays its a very bleak what happens next.

then the 3 choices either need more detail or changed in my outcome

1) destroy because no one can work with machines I just made peace with the geth yet I can't counter that argument
2) control ME1-3 we are led to beleive that control is impossible that it is a trick that they will control us yet last minute in the game it is said we can control them but it will kill us........So basically what I control them for a second the they go back to normal.
3) the green ray with the information we are given about the weapon it is impossible for that weapon to do it as conrad side mission clearly states it uses dark energy which tears things apart does not combine them.

Why is the normandy running and with my crew on earth fix them for me and I could atleast speculate a better outcome right now its more full of plotholes than ending.

then the normanday stranded with my crew who was with me at the beam explain that to me. Fix them for me I may not be 100% happy about the ending but atleast I can then speculate a bit better on what happens after.

Umm this fight is not done yet.

They have yet to give us what they promised, multipal endings that aren't A,B,C.

This whole update says we are double downing on A,B ,C. NO where do they say their will be any new endings.

Hold the line until they give us the endings they said they would!

Was? The movement isn't over until we have the content DL'ed on our harddrives.

Stay civil and continue to hold the line.

Yes, I do. I think it will continue and i believe it will be successful.
Because the retake movement wants certain things addressed before the ending is considered "fixed".
A) StarChild:
makes no sense, since it wasn't dropped or hinted at in any of the previous games, the "Catalyst" needs to be something that was foreshadowed previously.

B) Shepard acting like Shepard in regards to the final ending:
Shepard needs to have acted in accordance to the way his character has acted previously, this would go along way to the believability of any ending, even if shepard dies, we need to understand and believe this is something out shepard would do.

C) Character epilogue:
We would like to know what happened to our characters, If Shepard is going to sacrifice himself, we would like to know that it wasn't in vain and worth it. Especially in regards to my next point.

C) NOT DESTROYING THE MASS RELAYS!!!!:
I cannot stress this enough, part of what made this ending SO bad was the destruction of the mass relays, and stranding people and condemning them to a galactic holocaust of starvation, disease and death. *After reviewing the video of both arrival AND the ending to ME3, I am very certain that the explosions were NOT Arrival style Nova explosions destroying the star systems. THe only deaths caused by those explosions would be what ever effect the "Cruicible" wave has depending on your EMS.

Okay I am man enough to admit when I am wrong.  I thought everyone was moving on but it looks like most people are still going to hold out for these things.  Okay thank you for holding the line people and if all Bioware does is release extended versions of the endings we have now I would ask you not to buy them because I can't think of anything that would send a stronger message about what we are really fighting for.  Again thank you for ignoring the spin and holding the line.

Please check out this group and join in.

Well today seems to have been the end of the retake movement.  People are moving on and it seems that we will get extened versions of the three endings but not more then that.  So now that it is over and done with do you think in the end it was worth it?

I say yes for two reasons even though we didn't get what a lot of us really wanted.

1)we raised a lot of money to help sick kids.

and

2) despite the fact that not much was won because of the media attention I am pretty sure game makers will be a lot more careful in future about what they say about their games.

What do you think?

It's not over, just because they put out press releases saying they are listening and working on somthing doesn't mean we've won. It's just an effort to quiet us down a little bit and hope we just get bored while they "work on it". So, until I see what they are planning to produce is released as a patch(or god forbid, a DLC) I won't stop holding the line.

If only for the kids; yes.

People went from negative feelings to something constructive that will have overall a positive outcome.
Even if people from Retake don't get their ending(s), it's still a good thing.

Yes, I think it is worth it. Even if our goals are not met, we helped sick children during our protests. The way I see it, we can't lose any more regardless of the outcome

What's this "was" stuff? It -is- worth it. Passionat players are makeing it clear that the ending was bad so Bioware can fix it, and in the process raseing money for Child's Play.

It's a postive thing. A lot of passion and creative energy, along with it going to productive places with the "vote with your money" idea.

Sure, the reaction to the ending is overwhemingly negative, but good has come out of it.

If you've had enough of it, you can drop out. But this isn't the end of the world or even something negative.

I say yes in the sense we got a response.  We still need to wait to see what that response really is.  We have to stay strong and stay civil.

We must concentrate on the most important concerns and ideas.  Support the polls that have constructive ideas.

@OP: Not sure if serious. You don't just pack up and leave after a minor hypothetical victory based on a vague promise (maybe).

I'm sure most of us will keep holding that line until April, and until long after that if there's no satisfying answer.

"Was"...

No it IS still very much worth it.

If Bioware thinks some half arsed apology by the co-founder is going to smooth things over they are greatly mistaken.. now its time to see if they can back their words up with action..

I and many other  people are going  to be  criticizing them harshly, truthfully and civilly until then.

OP, you talking in the past tense, which implies the "take back" movement is over. I can't decide if you're trolling or if you've misread the whole situation ;)

The movement only ends when we receive satisfactory endings to the series that we have loved (and has been a narrative masterpiece, up until its final 10 minutes) for 5 years. So far, its being talked about and we're being told to "wait till april", but until its set in stone and/or delivered: the movement will continue to "hold the line".
