Just a poll to see what everybody thinks on this. I think the final mission is okay without it, but would still benefit from the addition of one. I prefer Harbinger be the final boss, hopefully with actual lines.
Poll: should an ending DLC also include a Final Boss fight?

If there is any final boss fight, it should be with Harbinger.
However I can understand Bioware's decision not to include one.
Also I think the chances of one being added are zero.

No option for me! I wouldn't mind either way.

Why not? I'd love to see the victory fleet kick the **** out of Harbinger!

I don't really care for "boss fights" as a gaming convention. It seems quite passe in the world of headshots and cinematics.
But there should definitely be some kind of confrontation with Harbinger, the supposed big baddy Reaper daddy who gets like 9 seconds of screen time.

NEED MOAR HARBINGER.
Don't care about boss fighting, but it wouldn't be bad either.

It would be cool, but not necessary. It would be cool though if Marauder Shields wasn't the last guy I got to shoot.

There should certainly be something to do with harby, but similar to the destroyer on earth. Wouldn't want an outright fight as i'm not a fan of those, but if it happened i wouldnt mind

Not necessary. I think "meet TIM" was a great final confrontation.
I don't need a classic last boss fight to enjoy the end.

If by boss battle you mean long conversation in which you convince Harbinger to take his genocidal ball and go home; then yes.

Yeah.. I was hoping to kill some Reapers in the end, not all civilly with one.

You failed to include an option for "Meh".

Quite frankly, I'd like to see a boss fight with both the Illusive Man and the Harbinger. It won't happen, but it would be great to have to go through the Illusive Man to get to the Harbinger boss fight. This is supposed to be the climax of the trilogy!

I always felt that Harbinger was going to play some form of a Boss during the battle to take back Earth. In ME2 he was always communicating with Shepard and participating in fire fights against Shepard so I was anticipating him taking control of Anderson or TIM in some kind of fight or battle of will in the last moments. They made him seem like the commander or leader of the Reapers so it was really strange when I played ME3 for the first time with only one mention of Harbinger (if we are to assume he was the one who hits us with the laser) in the game.

How about the CHOICE for a boss fight?
A renegade option to be taken if you don't want it, inactivity if you do.

Well unfortunately the reason given was that it was too "video-gamey", can't say I agree with the logic of removing stuff from video games for being video game like.
Also I think the chances of one being added are zero.
Right now it's probably not being payed much mind, but if we show them that it can help sell the ending DLC, should it come, then it's certainly possible. No reason not to at least ask. The worst will get is a "no, just an ending fix, sorry".

Harbinger, or TIM Reaper form (possibly through Harbinger) would be cool, just throwing it out there.

Harby: will never be as bad*ss as Sovereign, but a worthy foe in a final boss fight.
