Exluding a corrective DLC for Mass Effect 3, would you RIGHT NOW buy another BioWare product. Don't think about it. Gut reaction, yes or no. Go!

....no, for me.

*UPDATE: Great job keeping this post alive, everyone. Please keep responding to it. This sort of feedback is exactly what BioWare needs to hear; its about customer loyalty, repeat business, brand trust, etc, etc.  Important stuff!

I hope this is helpful BioWare.

Actually, I probably would.  No, I don't care for the ME3 endings and I'll probably not purchase the game.   That's my right as a consumer, just as it's the right of Bioware to tell the story however they want.

I've had enough good experience with other BW games that I'd probably still buy one if it looked like it was something I was interested in.

Depends on their future games, as of right now, no. I haven't bought any of the DAII DLC and I won't buy any ME3 DLC unless it deals with certain problems. They still make great games, but I can't deal with the way they handle certain situations (from rumours of the MP, to this whole ending fiasco). They're not the same company I once enjoyed, but I know they will still produce great games for a lot of gamers, so I'm happy for them.

They would have to wow me with a good DLC for ME3. Prior to playing ME3 I was dead set on ordering all the novels and then after ME3 getting into DA, but I'm turned off now. But again, if the DLC redeems the game...maybe.

Yes; an ending isn't going to deter me. (that goes for ME3 DLC as well)
Valve and Bioware still remain the best in the business for me.

Gut reaction? That would be a no.

After reading how the writing for the ending was handled I couldn't see myself spending time on another story written by the same group of people. Unless this is fixed of course. And I'm not talking about pictures and text. I'm talking about another 30 minutes to an hour of game play and cut scenes to end the game right like it should have been when I opened my damn box.

DA2 was fantastically written and a lot of fun to play. People claiming it was terrible either never played or only focused on the rehashed maps.I even enjoyed the fast pace combat

I never got the issues with DA2 either. I liked it, though would have enjoyed if it would have been longer and with more enviroments.
Also i like to add that i never bought a game because of the studio that made it. I buy a game I'm interested in, not the developer.

Definitely my favorite developer right now. I haven't found another company that is as adept at creating characters that I downright love like BioWare does. I look forward to their next IP.

I'm not boycotting them but after DA2 and this, I'd wait for some reviews, whereas I've preordered every major bioware title since KOTOR. Definitely lost some trust.

With no fix for ME3 ending? No.
With a fix? Yes.

For me I have lost trust in the developer and it is going to require a showing from them (not words, actions) before I'm willing to take a chance and spend my money on their promises.

Definitely not. My SWTOR subscription expired 2 days ago and I am not going to extend it until this mess has been resolved to my satisfaction.

Without hesitation and that goes for more than just games.

New games, I am in.
New DLC, I am in.
New lithographs, I am in.
New replica guns, I am in.
Sideshow premium format figures - I am in (Hint Hint)

In other words, keep the games and the collectible content coming. I cant even begin to describe how excited I am that there might be new Mass Effect games coming down the pipeline. Best news I have heard this year in regards to gaming.

I don't buy my videogames based off who makes them, I judge the games individually.

Yes. I still think they make great games and I am still interested in whatever projects they have going for DA,ME or anything RPG. I hated the ending too, but I have some hope that they'll do something about it. If they don't, well, I still want to see what's next on the menu.

What is so bad about the ME3 ending? I thought it was good, although, the lack of details at the end was a bit off-putting. Are people complaining about not actually knowing what happens, or what? I love having room for some interpretation here, such as movies like Inception, Shutter Island, etc. It becomes my own story, of sorts.

And, yes. I would buy another BioWare product for sure.

Nope...not going to give in to an company that made such an amazing game with amazing characters and story.

95%<5% How in the hell does this math work?

IGN- 9.5/10
Game Informer- 10/10
G4- 5/5
Gamespot- 9/10

Are you all going to tell me that the integrity of all the game critics I just listed was compromised by money? And those are just the ones I know about. There are probably even more than that. Funny thing is I have learned not to listen to reviews and to judge a game for itself. If I was to review this game, 10 out of 10 just for the first 95% alone. Sure this is my opinion but obviously it's other peoples as well.

So Gut Reaction....yes I would buy another Bioware game. Pre Order and all. All their work has proven to be too good to allow 5% of one game to condemn them (and yes I'm even talking about Dragon Age 2 in which I still enjoy to this day.)

Impulse answer: No.

Longer answer - of course I would if it was good, but probably 6-18 months later - my position would be one of listening to see what other people think first, and possibly, maybe, checking it out.

I've no reason for buying BioWare games early at full retail any more, not as things stand.

Yes, absolutely. I'm not going to boycott every product a company puts out because the only bad experience I've had with them was the ending of one game. Bioware is one of the few top quality game developers out there. Too many good experiences with their work to turn my back on them now.

This, though my heart is broken over the endings its not going to stop me from enjoying other Bioware games.
