Where else are they going to go for story telling on the level that Bioware provides?
CD Project RED and Bethesda ofcourse.
Hey, I quite enjoyed Skyrims story, as pretty good imo. Better ending than ME3!!
I downloaded the enhanced patches for me witcher2 copy on PC. I still love playing that game. The graphics, animation are amazing. Awesome story too.

as someone who has been playing bioware games since baldurs gate days the only bioware product i intend to purchase is the enhanced edition of baldurs gate 1 and 2.
i loved mass effect, i loved ME2, i loved ME3 until the ending and frankly at this stage i dont care about a new ending dlc free or paid, heck i have over 600 hours on Dragon age origins but i never bothered with 2
as much as i respect bioware for the amazing writing in ME3 and the whole mass effect experience they gave me (thank you so much for that) i dont trust them anymore

Wouldn't buy a game just because it says Bioware on the front but never
have. Personally would buy Mass Effect 3 again even knowing the end
because it was a brilliant game with a couple of minutes that were
dissapointing out of twenty or more hours of extreme enjoyment.
Having completed ME3 I am left feeling sad that the series is over and would happily pay to have that experience all over again.

Depends on the game of course. If the next Bioware game is great, I'll buy it. If it sucks, then I won't buy it. Doesn't matter if Bioware "messed up" the ending of one game. In the end, I buy the games that interest me most.

This. And I think it's laughable they've garnered this reputation.

No—unless I had seen another friend playing it, who enjoyed it, who recommended it. But my days of pre-ordering BioWare games are pretty much over, I think.

No.
Not even if they retconned ME 3 with an orgasmic end of pure epic win. For me the damage is done.

I'm curious why people say yes/no on a Bioware basis. Don't people purchase games case-by-case? I find it extremely silly to buy a game solely because some big hotshot developer made it. So what? Never, ever buy a game before opinions circulate about it, even if it's advertised to be the best thing since sliced bread.
To answer the topic, yes if it's good, no if it's bad.

I won't pre-order again, but it would depend on the game if I would buy another game from them. Not interested in the strategy game they're developing and DA3 (if it's even in development) would need to be a great deal more like DAO for me to consider buying it.

LOL.
Thanks to all this kickstart business we can start seeing games like Wasteland 2 and possibly a kickstarter driven Obsidian game.

That's the worst part of it, the game itself was amazing, but that last 1%...train wreck.
And that means "I'm never buying a game from them again?"
Good grief! Using that model, I could never again buy (or drink) Coke because of the New Coke blunder, or watch another movie with John Travolta because of the travesty of Battlefield Earth (or his love of "Scientology"...take your pick), or love the Star Wars universe DESPITE "Episode I: The Phantom Plot."
Look, even if you feel disappointed by part of one product, that's no reason to swear off of ALL products by that company. It takes a TREND of bad games by a company to make me swear off of them. And right now, BioWare has a much better trend at making good RPGs than any other company (a matter of opinion, that last bit).
