No, after DA2 and ME3, it's clear that BioWare is no longer producing products I find anywhere near as compelling as their earlier output.

And that's just Edmonton; never mind the other teams that EA has created to suck the life out of the Bioware name. Team Ireland? Really?

Can't say at first glance. I probably won't be as enthusiastic, and I would likely default to "no."

Unlike in the past where I would immediately buy their products I will now wait a month or two then decide whether or not I will purchase another Bioware game.....

As to ME3 ask me in late April. As it stands now I am in a "MAYBE" state of being.:?

Unless the current situation with ME3 is resolved, I wont be purchasing anything else from Bioware. I see no reason to support what they're doing at this point. Bear in mind though, things can change and I am willing to come back into the fold if things improve.

I just want to clarify my initial reply that I won't be buying from BioWare from the get-go like the past. I will no longer pre-order any BioWare game and I would be looking at the actual released impressions from various users before committing. Even with the endings, having two in a row bad blows from them should teach me a lesson. I will be following their development of Dragon Age 3, but it won't be a pre-order for sure. I will hold out until they release the final product and read people's ultimate impressions before buying.

No, the last thing I need to do is buy say, Dragon Age 3 and find out i'm suddenly the love child of the male Warden and male Hawke who's also Fenris' dad. You never know these days. Things sometimes do change towards the end of the creative process, after all.

Not as long as this mess is not fixed. Anyway since DA2, BW is no longer a "preorder first ask questions later" developer.

I haven't bought anything from Bioware or EA since Dragon Age 2

Mass Effect 3 was their chance to earn back my trus, and it was looking good for a long time, but then.....but then...

yes, probably, if it appealed to me on a basic level. I felt some disconnect with the chars in ME3 and day 1 dlc always angers me, etc etc but I still found it to be a worthy way to spend the time it took to play through it. I consider it the least of the 3 but still worth my money.  Quite frankly, no other dev really does the dialog style rpg so I will continue to support them and hope they continue to grow as a company in both ethics and quality.  I haven't forgotten that they gave us so much free DLC with ME2.

No. I understand mistakes happen, but they need to be handled properly! So until I have proof that bioware can be trusted to do that, my answer stays a no.

Much more likely to buy another Bioware product right now than I am an Eidos Montreal one, after seeing their community manager retweet every single "entitled whiners" comment known to man.

Overall things could've been handled better by everybody, but I'm willing to give Bioware the benefit of the doubt again, for the moment, as we have a clear schedule, even if no clear path, provided for us.

So, sure, will buy future Bioware products if it looks like something positive will come out of this mess...

My answer is:

It depends.

I won't be preordering their games again unless they improve their track record.

I may be completely put off if they don't do something good to the ending of ME3.  I was one of those who was disappointed by DA2, and like a much earlier poster, I didn't buy DLC for it as a result.  It just completely lacked the feel of DAO and that feel was one of the main reasons I liked DAO.

I will no longer try to avoid spoilers; if I'd read spoilers, I would have known what to expect for the ending.  I might not have believed it, but at least I would have known.

If, after getting spoilers and player reviews, I think the game is worth it, I will at least consider purchasing it.

Perhaps it's because my hopes were so high that I felt so disappointed.  Or maybe it's because the rest of the game was just so awesome.  Or a mix of the two, maybe?  Either way, given the disappointing, unsatisfying, and actually rather frustrating ending, I'll be careful now on any game purchases.  Video games are not cheap and I don't like wasting my hard-earned money.

absolutely not. and less because of the ending than because Mr. Priestly directly said we could play single player offline and never worry about multi-player, but you can only do that if you don't bother with any DLC. apparently what you purchase isn't yours anymore. EA's gone the path of itunes and other media.

Maybe.

But they're definitely off my Must Buy list and on to my Caveat Emptor list.

Depends how it's intended.

Other games? Likely yes. DA3 is in development right now for instance and I don't see why I'd hold that team accountable to this ending.

But I sure ain't gonna penny up for any ME3 DLC that I know is meaningless in the end any way, and I'm usually one of those (happy, I might add) sheep who buy every last bit of it. If an ending DLC comes out that will enable me to again play ME3 - the finale to one of my favourite franchises ever - then I will gladly zip my lips and start handing them my wallet without issue again. But as it is, I'm not paying for content I know I will not play. I've yet to import any of my non-first Sheps into ME3 cause I just can't bring myself to do so.

I'd love to love the content though... =(
