Is it just a setting I have wrong somewhere, or does the game not put out any bass or LFE on rear channel-only sound effects?
For example, if I cast Throw or cause a biotic explosion in front of me, I get plenty of Bass/LFE (whichever the game uses), but if I have that same Throw or biotic explosion occur behind me, that same sound effect generates no noticeable bass/LFE. I tried playing with the settings on my receiver thinking I had botched something up, but no matter how I set the sizing of my speakers or bass/LFE routing, I could not get the game to put out any bass from sound effects generated behind the player. This disrupts the immersion of an otherwise incredible audio experience (aside from the crackling noises mentioned in another topic).
Is this an issue, or something wrong with my setup? Please let me know. Thanks.
