So a lot of people are saying that Bioware would be losing its artistic integrity if it changed or added to the ending. What if, for example, Biowares' writers themselves simply stated they wanted to change the ending because they wanted it to be better and thought they could make it better? Would people still be saying that they were selling out their artistic integrity? I don't understand the argument here. They are artists so they can create their art but can't change their art if they so choose? That doesn't make any sense to me.
The entire argument about artistic integrity is ridiculous to me because, by the beliefs of the people who use that argument, the artist should have license to shape their art the way they see fit and yet people use that artistic integrity argument to claim that the artist can't change their art.
About artistic integrity.
