Uhhh the Wraith and personally I don't think it's a contest. The ability to one-shot mooks means your TTK against most enemies is the same as a GI, while against bosses the Wraiths' less than amazing sustained DPS is offset by the warp-throw combo. Warp, two Wraith shots, and a BE should be enough to kill a Brute.

The Wraith also gives you good range, which I think is really important on vanilla human kits because they run so slow.

You can absolutely troll Gold with just Acolyte and Throw. Here's an example build.

It gets boring quickly, though, at which point you should respec and start using Wraith.

It's possible the OP is still looking for his answer, but probably not.

As far as advice based on the topic: It's hard to beat an Acolyte on a caster, although it's plenty easy to tank up an H-Sent as a weapons class, and use Warp to murder all the things.

Hey, I saw your platinum solo with the venom shotgun on the geth infiltrator, I was very amazed, I also happen to love that build, it's an extremely powerful set up, and you were great with it. Great time too.

This is a big underestimation of how much Power Amps do. As someone who religiously uses a BE-based H-Sent, I can assure that Power Amp does a lot. It can allow you to OSK mooks, depending on your other passives.

Also, BEs do not replace power damage. They add to it, so Power Amp is actually a very good idea on a caster-built H-Sent.

Oh, thanks. It is my favorite weapon in the game.

Even though you don't like scoped pistols I'm still going to say pistols. Failing that, use anything that can get you a 200% ability recharge.

Human Sentinels are all about Warp -> Throw spam. They're largely ineffective at doing anything else.

Depends on the gun, a hitscan gun would probably be better off with AP and damage, or possibly an extended mag, since the weapon dps gained would most likely outweigh the power damage from the amp.

An acolyte however, lacks a better option than damage barrel and power amp, since it doesn't need AP, a scope's useless, it's too light to need ulm, and a extended mag doesn't gain you much since three shots will shield strip just about anything anyway.

I can't imagine anyone using the acolyte to melee people.

I personally run my HSen at 6/6/6/6/0, alliance training for power dmg and reduced weapon weight with the Talon with Power Amplifier and piercing mod. I'm sitting at 190-something recharge, and the Talon is only lvl 2.
Works very, very well.
I'd say any pistol or smg (whatever you want that you have the highest power amp for) that gives you as close to 200 as possible. Talon, Carnifex, Acolyte, Arc Pistol, Suppressor if yer good at headshots, Hurricane, Locust... suppose even the Tempest should work.
Your main dmg is from BEs, but you do want that extra dmg on Warp that you get from.a power amp.

If you have the 10% DR evo at 6b, it might be worth considering 56663 instead.

With cyclonic IV, 66660 = 1250 shield X 1.5 = 1875 effective shields.
With cyclonic IV, 56663 = 1375 shield X 1.4 = 1925 effective shields.

Also, with cyclonic IV, 46664 = 1450 shield X 1.4 = 2030 effective shields, but that means sacrificing the power damage boost from tech armour.

He needs a badass weapon, since Warp-Throw is slower than the AA's, assuming tech armor is used. Something like the Hurricane or Piranha. Wraith and Venom aren't bad either.

Any light to mid-weight (actual) weapon in this game. Hurricane, Harrier, Claymore, Wraith, Reegar, Piranha, Raider, Talon, et cetera.

Why are people using power amps on the Human Sent. again? Unless I missed something, what are you gaining from the power amp? I will only use power amps on a grenade class, because that's hipster.

I use this http://kalence.drupa...63N51384!ECBA5O
Guns like lancer, BPP, wraith.

Once again, power amp on a wrap and throw kit is dumb.

I agree with you completely. I've been saying the same thing. It's obviously the only way to go. But I feel like a teacher standing in a classroom full of 10 year old kids, I'm telling them that 2 and 2 makes 4 but they're all staring at me with puzzled expressions on their faces.

Some people just like weird things, I guess. Power amp on a human sentinel...beyond dumb.

Oh shoot. I just used this class yesterday and I can't remember what I had.

I want to say it was a Hurricane, but I can't remember.

Quite the necro...

Well, I'd say the best is Talon + PHB + AP, with backup Hurricane/BPP/CSMG + ULM + Heatsink. Incendiary Ammo.

The Talon is really good at stripping shields from infantry without having to wait for a charge up like the Acolyte. 1-2 shots, followed by Throw = dead mook.

When it comes to boss Armor, switch weapon and use warp + incendiary cheese.

If you're going to do that, use the Turian Sentinel instead.

You're doing it wrong oni; bringing two weapons in this game is one of the most ineffecient things you can do. Also every kit in this game is a weapon build, unless proven other wise.

Actually, I take it back... I've switched back to the Adas. The Adas has two advantages: strip shields decently fast + stagger. It makes Warp/Throw much more likely to land, and makes Throw, in particular, more effective.

The AA has Stasis, so she doesn't have to resort to using a stagger stick. Probably carry the Hurricane as backup.
