I'm pretty sure switching to a Hurricane is more efficient than plinking away at boss Armor with a Talon. Conversely, one Talon shot + Throw is more efficient against infantry than using a Hurricane.

There's plenty of times where having two weapons makes sense. After all, most weapons in this game worth using either have long range, or high DPS. Rarely does a gun have both, and those that do usually weigh as much as two weapons anyway.

Arc Pistol.

Throw is actually quite good at setting up headshots.

Talon is the default gun for casters, but I enjoy Wraith as well.

Hey I'm a newbie compared to guys, I'm totally hooked on multiplayer and therefore I have been doing alot of research on the characters and bulids weapons the whole universe. Now I haven't played sentinel yet but from what I have seen if you have a falcon that will stagger which is cool. The way I'd play with a human sentinel would be warp, then shoot to stagger then throw for a biotic explosion.

If I'm wrong I would like to hear from you guys. Like I said I'm a newbie.
Cheers!!!!!

The Acolyte with your favorite SMG is basically the best caster Hsent set-up. If you don't have that, then any Pistol you like with Phasics is the next best thing. Don't use disruptor rounds if you're going for BEs because warp will detonate a tech-burst and if it detonates a tech burst it won't prime for a BE.

You should shoot to stagger before warp. If you open with warp it will likely get dodged. Generally you should open with warp if the enemy just dodged (all enemy dodges have cooldowns except for phantoms I think), is staggered, is in cover, or has no dodge. Even if you flank them they can still dodge it. Keep in mind that enemies can't be staggerlocked the way we can. They get stagger immunity for a couple seconds after each stagger. Breaking the enemy's shield can cause a stagger.

As long as you make sure Warp lands you'll be in great shape. Biotic Explosions do bonus damage to Barriers and Armor, but are still very effective against shields and health. BE damage doesn't get bonuses from power amps or passives.

For builds I'd go 66606.

throw: radius, detonate, force and damage
warp: detonate, expose, recharge speed
tech armor: durability, power damage, recharge speed
No passives and full fitness.

Be sure to check out the resource library stickied at the top of the forums.

Warp+Throw BE is still strong enought hat it will strip shields from almost every mook in the game. Very useful when you have, say, multiple mooks surrounding an Atlas or a Prime in a tight corridor.

(I'm not disagreeing with you, just thought I'd point that out for those not in the know.)

This is incorrect. Warp can detonate tech comboes and prime BEs at the same time.

However, if you shoot with Disruptor ammo after Warping, the Throw will detonate a Tech Burst and you will have to Throw again to get the BE.
