Are you lost sweetheart??? When did I bash DA2 ? I don't care about the gay romances either. And all games reuses areas. They  have been doing it for years.

BioWare were doing just fine with their games until they started listening to their idiotic fans with both DA2 and ME3.
With DA2 it was due to DAO art styles , character sexual orientation and other crap. And with ME3 it was sexual orientation and the ending as far as I know . My point is that BioWare listens to their fans and  their idiotic suggestions and when they do DA2 happens and now we  have  out of the blue sexual orientation shepards .

Link?  Sounds like you're just attributing whatever you dislike to people without any actual evidence to prove your assumptions.

The only announcement that BioWare has made of any kind with regards to DA2 and potential future DLC is they've decided to instead move on to developing DA3 rather than spend those resources making more DLC for the game.  Nowhere have I seen a single article or press release where BioWare states otherwise.

That is of course not true. I could come up with an explanation why DA2 is crappy, but I cant be bothered so i will just mention 1 glaring fault: Reused areas.

I hate that about DA2. Pure laziness on BioWare's part.

Skyrim did it too you know...

If it does it's a lot less noticeable.

Well, saying things like:

1)  BioWare's games were fine until DA2 and ME3 happened
2)  BioWare listening to idiotic fans leads to something like DA2 happening.

isn't complimentary toward DA2.  Seems to me you have issues with the game or you wouldn't say things like this.

Oh, this again. Because of bisexual characters, the games "suck". Uh, no. But thanks for showing us all your prejudices, that's helpful.

Really, that's all you're saying? You're upset because they added content based on user feedback?

Yes Tie that it's  you got.me .
And it's ruining our games because most fans tin to be a bit over opinionated.

If the developers did not want feedback they WOULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR IT!

When you get older you will understand that.

But 1) not nearly as obvious and 2) it made up for it by having a 1000 times bigger world, and an OPEN one at that.

:lol::lol::lol:Okay that's funny.

Seriously though it really is kind of weird that a lot of the industry is crying out about keeping the artistic integrity of the game and BW had the right to write their own story when a lot of the things in the game came from ideas from the fans and wasn't the developers original ideas in the first place. Just seems a little strange to me.

nope, the trolls are those people who think any sort of sexual content adds something to a game like ME, then try to rubbish the arguments of those that don't think it's required. It adds nothing to the game, takes away resources which would have been better spent elsewhere.

i'm no prude, i love my porn etc, but it's a dead end adventure in a game like ME.

now, don't get me wrong, devs inserting scantly dressed females into a strip joint scene makes sense from a logical pov and helps to recreate the overall atmosphere of the place, after all, a strip joint isn't a strip joint without, well, erm ... strippers. But humping a guy/gal pre earth missions adds nowt to the story. it's just there to simply muster up more sales and to entice those people that get their jollies from watching a bunch of pixels doing adult things.

There is a difference between "sexual content" and "romantic interaction". What you are saying sounds like you are opposed to sex scenes. What about a game like KOTOR where...there was a romance sub-plot but no sex (no kiss even for FemRevan)?

Would you be opposed to a scantly dressed male in a strip joint?

The fans sure has had a bad influence on the games, no doubt about that. Please listen a little less to these people for your next game, Bioware. They don't know what they want.

I totally agreed on the sexual relationship content part. Totally non-sense, mainly because if you're not too careful on aswner choices, you can transform your male alpha char into a gaaaaaay ******.

I'm confused, weren't people disappointed with DA2 because it wasn't like Origins? That's the gist I got. They weren't appealing to the fans, they were trying to garner a larger audience. Namely the action crowd. They already had the fans interested, hence the number of pre-sales. They didn't need to impress them.

No, i'm opposed to the whole romantic thing too (unless it ties into the game as a whole).  There's no need for it in ME other than people wanting it "just because".  Me saving earth or fighting the reapers isn't dependant on my toon having a romantic scene, so the whole romantic thing is a deadend.  It's wasted and the effort would have been better spent elsewhere.
