First things first. Bioware hasn't promised to change the ending or even to give more options at the end.
But they have promised new end-game content and that we will have a hand in shaping it. THAT MEANS WE MUST BE AT LEAST AS VOCAL NOW AS WE WERE YESTERDAY.
Holding the line looks different now than it did. Now we need to say not merely that the ending was unsatisfactory, but what a satisfcatory (collection of) endings would look like. Different. But still:
Hold. The. Line.
Keep it up! Hold the Line.

The statement by the co-founder is a step in the right direction, but only a step. We have to remember the broken promises from game development. Nothing concrete has been offered, only an offer of 'something' in April. The OP is correct, continue to hold the line.
