OK, so I poked around and didn't see any thread running with this.  I'm genuinely wondering what everyone rolled in singleplayer and what their strategy for fighting mission to mission was.

I rolled an engineer,  so my entire strategy was based around kiting.  By the way it's the first time, I've rolled anything other than something tank like in any RPG I played. So getting used to it?  A bit tough.  Kiting as a whole was a bit tough in ME.

My squadmate lineup was unchanged, largely, throughout the game.  Garrus/Liara... Garrus was fantastic for ranged, and of course Liara for biotics.

The one thing I did miss was Jack's Shockwave.  There were moments, where I REALLY missed that.  I kind of steamed ahead without reading much online about each party member.

So an average fight would have me slowly circling my entire party away from whatever was attacking, while popping off as much ranged damage as possible, all the while trying to get the mobs to bite on my combat drone and sentry turret. The one area where this strategy just completely fell apart was the final mission on Earth.  I will end up replaying that mission at some point to pull it off better.  Four teleporting Banshees running around, a handful of brutes did not a pleasant day make.

So anyone else?  Any cool strat that I completely missed out on, because I'm a nub when it comes to singleplayer squad combat instead of an MMO?

I must say though, having Tali on the Geth missions with both of us having AI hacking, was an absolute riot.  Sit back, hang out, let the enemy destroy itself.
