 I get into a match and because my n7 level isn't over 100 I'm booted. I have a level 20 character with maxed out weapons and equipment. It's on silver matches. Most of those guys were playing with level 15 characters. It's getting to be ridiculous at the amount of n7 elitists out there. Matchmaking is already crappy enough.

I had a similar thing happen, had a higher level, better equipment, my class wasn't already in the lobby and I got booted. Some people just aren't worth playing with.

I am N7 243 and I never kick anyone other than level 4 Vanguards going for Gold.

I wouldn't call this style of game play... "match-making". Not sure what a better term is but its not like CoD/BF3 etc etc.

It is unfortunate that there is the kicking going around. I personally don't care what level/rank anyone is. So long as they can assist when people go down during a mission, or are helping complete objectives. I honestly think that the N7 Rating needs to be more reflective of those things.

I kept my N7 at 120 because I have poor luck with weapon unlocks.

It would be silly for me to have N7 300 and only Avenger IX.

I only boot on silver if the person is <15 N7 simply because silver is not a place for low level characters or experience. I don't need to be picking people up every five seconds because they can't hold their own against some Marauders. However I'll gladly give anyone above that a chance. I just feel that a decent N7 shows that you have put in the effort to understand the game and the enemies. Oh, and also the character you play as. I find it silly to boot people for reasons other than that though.

I'm lucky enough to not have this happen to me...yet. But it seems some people are far to full of themselves and their in game talents. Still though, call me a noob if you will, but what does the N7 rating even represent?

N7 ranks mean nothing. Sure if you're into leaderboards but a lot of people aren't.

Some guy joined my Gold lobby today and was talking crap because i'm N7 80-something. I'm damn good at the game but I don't want to waste my time leveling up a character only to reset it.

The multiplayer has become boring and tedious already, I don't know how people play it for so long.

I only boot if you're showing the obvious signs of being a noob in my silver/gold lobbies. (Using an adept with the revenant, level 1 human soldier with avenger 1 equipped, level 1 human vanguard N7 1, ect.)

Most of the time when I see people get kicked, it has less to do with their N7 levels, and it's more about their crappy loadout choices.

People kick people out for other reasons than there n7. Maybe they dont think you will gel with the other characters or they are waiting for a friend, etc.

I am a n7 359 with all level 10 weapons and level 5 mods with all level 3 equipment and I get booted out of matches at least once a day.

 Mostly its people building up the credit bank for better weapons/equipment/stat upgrades. Mostly the only reason I find it bearable.  It'll pay for itself when they release some new maps/challenges.  I'm pretty sure we might get to see Maen (Palaven's moon) as a multiplayer map.

I joined a Silver game earlier today on my level 11 Salarian Infiltrator. 2 people were voting to kick a level 20 Quarian Engineer, i can only presume because his N7 rating was less than 50 as they did not try to kick me and i was 9 levels lower. I left the game because i refuse to kick someone just because they have a low N7 rating.

When I play gold/silver I vote kick if a characters level is low w/ bad gear, or their N7 level is insanely low /w bad gear, etc. It sucks for all the good players who just happen to be low levels but it's the only way you can try to limit the number of people you'll inevitably have to carry.

I've had some low level guys do very well and some high N7 players absolutely suck (recently had an N7 200 Asari Adept lvl20 die 1-2 times every round in silver lol) so it's not a perfect system but oh well.

to be honest, I would kick if only they let me see their ping. Personally, I won't join the game in the first place. In some games, I am dying because I warped into a brute... and can't kill anything with guns, only self guided powers let me do damage..

Quarian Engineers seem to have a bad rep.
Salarian Infiltrators are under a cloak of energy power.

Likely they were elitist over class there.
Which is kind of worse, but then all kicking is bad, not as bad as rage quiting though leaving team down a bullet sponge.

n7 only matters when an under-level char is trying for silver or gold. Under double-digit char level needs a high n7 for silver. Kick anything under 15 on gold w/o triple-digit n7.

Depends , u could be maxed out whatever u want , but like the other guys said if u show signs of being a noob then u deserve to be kicked. Ala vanguard with widow and claymore .
