I never kick players based on their N7 rank. sometimes I may if I am doing something like silver/gold and they are below 10 with lv II weapons on them (regardless) of N7 level

other than that I am even willing to wait up to 5 mins in the lobby to ready up

After kicked, just rejoin another match. Even if you complain here, most of other players won't see this thread.

Don't take the kick personally; thousands of reason might be behind it. ;D

Engineers are great yes, but when I see one join my game using a pistol *and a shotgun* it's kickin' time.

I dunno....my Geth Plasma Shotgun X can kick *** at short and long range. I guess it depends on what shotgun they are using.

The other thing that makes me kick people is the whole "AFK the whole match then come back once every 12 minutes and move to a new spot." deal.

Especially when they have a mic, and act like nothing happened after the match. >:S

I won't kick anyone for N7/Character level on Silver. Frankly three manning Silver isn't that hard if your three mans work together. On gold though I'll kick if it's a character/N7 in single figures who has probably been put in the game because they had the challenge: any option on. If some one has a character close to 20 that's fine, though I'm not going to break out the level 3 equipment.

I'm more annoyed with N7 200 or 300+ players who turn up in gold games with more or less fresh promoted characters. Despite what they seem to think I've not come across one who wasn't a waste of a slot and getting to 15ish in Silver/Bronze doesn't take that much time.

To the people who are trying to justify kicking low levels. Your idiots.

Sorry, not a personal attack just a statement of personal belief.

I convinced my friend to start playing ME3, needless to say, he was lv 1 when he started. He is one of the best players I know. He often destroys high level 'superior' players scores.

As far as this goes, it's a team game. Everyone has a right to be part of the team.

to be honest, I would kick if only they let me see their ping. Personally, I won't join the game in the first place. In some games, I am dying because I warped into a brute... and can't kill anything with guns, only self guided powers let me do damage..

Seriouslly some connections should not be created at all if there is going to be that much latancey between players. It's just not fun. Part of the reason Blizzard still has Regions on Battlenet. That is until we're all networked by fancey quantum entanglment or FTL Mass Effect fields.

I've only ever kicked a guy whom everyone's been waiting on for a while. Couldn't care less really what n7 level people have; it's a pretty arbitrary statistic anyway. And so what if an adept likes to use an assault rifle? It might be great for his/her combat strategy.

Games are about having fun, so instead of moaning about other people's setups, maybewe should change our own to balance it if it's such a big problem.

I have one reason for kicking people. They haven't readied up in 5mins. Come on, 2 mins is enough to distribute powers and set up equipment and weapons!

For the record OP, it also works in reverse. If your N7 is 'too high' people will boot you for that as well -_-

'Cause like, apparently the only way to get it 500+ is to totally cheat & stuff.

Yet there were also many other occassions where the low level player, especially level 1, did screw up the game.

True that the relation between N7 ranking and gameplay is not really clear. But generally speaking, one can imagine that low N7 ranking tends to show lesser experience, as compared to the higher ranking.

Your friend can go level up a little bit on bronze. I've never seen nor kicked anyone on bronze. If I'm in bronze for whatever reason I'll carry level 1s for as long as I need to. There's nowhere else for them to go.

The only time I ever kick a low level member is if they're below N7 10 on silver, sometimes below N7 20, since their characters are underleveled and they probably don't realize how much more difficult silver is than bronze at that point.

I got kicked a couple of times (and I have a high N7) , to avoid been kicked before I could show my skills, until lvl 10 I play just bronze ( many times my char starts at lvl 7 because of the packs) , 10 - 15 play silver , after that gold

About equipment, I think what is more important is the skill to survive and strategy of the player, many people rely your dps only in powers and fast cooldown. A lvl I or lvl X gun don't even make difference here, for kicking someone based in equipment in a luck system for acquire them, for me it is elitism.

Yeah, like I said, c'est la vie.

I'll admit to kicking people who are taking forever to hit the ready button (2 minutes or more after everyone else).

I would never kick someone for level in bronze, and it would have to be REALLY low for me to consider a kick in silver. (I don't play gold because I suck at FPS-style games - I'm usually struggling to take second place in points, even playing a human engineer.)

N7 ranks mean nothing.

Pretty much. Character level is what people need to be concerned with.

Well my friend has never been actually kicked because he always plays with me, and you obviously need 3 people to vote to kick and I never do. And after the first game gets out of the way and people see how good he is, they do not vote anymore.

We generally play on Silver with him because he's good but he selfadmittedly doesnt have a good enough character to try Gold yet.

To the people who are trying to justify kicking low levels. Your idiots. You're* That's fourth grade grammar.

Sorry, not a personal attack just a statement of personal belief. Are you going for irony here? Trying to imply that having doubts of a players contribution to the team is the same as a direct personal insult?

I convinced my friend to start playing ME3, needless to say, he was lv 1 when he started. He is one of the best players I know. He often destroys high level 'superior' players scores. Good for him. Your anecdotal evidence proves nothing. Just because some level 1s can do fine doesn't mean all, or even most, can.

As far as this goes, it's a team game. Everyone has a right to be part of the team. So it's fine for unskilled players to jump in silvers and golds and ruin other people's fun? No. Vote kicking doesn't stop you from playing the game, just means that nobody in the lobby wanted to play with you. Join another.

Got kicked out not too long ago for carrying Javelin around. *shrug* I find the sniper rifle to be extremely effective and haven't had any trouble killing things with it.

If it only happened to me once I wouldn't have made a thread. It's been happening often. And yes azjuria I've had people boot me for having a higher n7 level than them on my demo account which was like 105 or so.

Sometimes I kick people because their name has too many vowels.
