N7 elitists need to stop. It's ridiculous.

Don't take the kick personally; thousands of reason might be behind it. ;D

Engineers are great yes, but when I see one join my game using a pistol *and a shotgun* it's kickin' time.
I dunno....my Geth Plasma Shotgun X can kick *** at short and long range. I guess it depends on what shotgun they are using.

I'm more annoyed with N7 200 or 300+ players who turn up in gold games with more or less fresh promoted characters. Despite what they seem to think I've not come across one who wasn't a waste of a slot and getting to 15ish in Silver/Bronze doesn't take that much time.

Sorry, not a personal attack just a statement of personal belief.
I convinced my friend to start playing ME3, needless to say, he was lv 1 when he started. He is one of the best players I know. He often destroys high level 'superior' players scores.
As far as this goes, it's a team game. Everyone has a right to be part of the team.

to be honest, I would kick if only they let me see their ping. Personally, I won't join the game in the first place. In some games, I am dying because I warped into a brute... and can't kill anything with guns, only self guided powers let me do damage..

Seriouslly some connections should not be created at all if there is going to be that much latancey between players. It's just not fun. Part of the reason Blizzard still has Regions on Battlenet. That is until we're all networked by fancey quantum entanglment or FTL Mass Effect fields.

Games are about having fun, so instead of moaning about other people's setups, maybewe should change our own to balance it if it's such a big problem.

Yet there were also many other occassions where the low level player, especially level 1, did screw up the game.
True that the relation between N7 ranking and gameplay is not really clear. But generally speaking, one can imagine that low N7 ranking tends to show lesser experience, as compared to the higher ranking.

Your friend can go level up a little bit on bronze. I've never seen nor kicked anyone on bronze. If I'm in bronze for whatever reason I'll carry level 1s for as long as I need to. There's nowhere else for them to go.Zeju wrote...

About equipment, I think what is more important is the skill to survive and strategy of the player, many people rely your dps only in powers and fast cooldown. A lvl I or lvl X gun don't even make difference here, for kicking someone based in equipment in a luck system for acquire them, for me it is elitism.

I'll admit to kicking people who are taking forever to hit the ready button (2 minutes or more after everyone else).
I would never kick someone for level in bronze, and it would have to be REALLY low for me to consider a kick in silver. (I don't play gold because I suck at FPS-style games - I'm usually struggling to take second place in points, even playing a human engineer.)

We generally play on Silver with him because he's good but he selfadmittedly doesnt have a good enough character to try Gold yet.

To the people who are trying to justify kicking low levels. Your idiots. You're* That's fourth grade grammar.
Sorry, not a personal attack just a statement of personal belief. Are you going for irony here? Trying to imply that having doubts of a players contribution to the team is the same as a direct personal insult?
I convinced my friend to start playing ME3, needless to say, he was lv 1 when he started. He is one of the best players I know. He often destroys high level 'superior' players scores. Good for him. Your anecdotal evidence proves nothing. Just because some level 1s can do fine doesn't mean all, or even most, can.
As far as this goes, it's a team game. Everyone has a right to be part of the team. So it's fine for unskilled players to jump in silvers and golds and ruin other people's fun? No. Vote kicking doesn't stop you from playing the game, just means that nobody in the lobby wanted to play with you. Join another.
