I haven't run into N7 elitists, although I hate running into games where kids keep the match type public but boot anyone who isn't their friend. Happened to me twice in a row once.

Only thing I try avoiding is human vanguard, not because they are suicidal, but female voice whenever she charges and do whatever just gives me a migraine. I would like to play game without... yeah without headache please.

Yeah, also I'll lobby hop if I see a vanguard that isn't a host...glitch incoming.

How these low level players can get into these gamin gods gold games is strange, the only way it can be "there" lobby is if its private, and i thought you needed a inv for that, anything else is PUBLIC.
I suppose you have to cut the elitist snobs some slack, being able to kick people is prob the only power they will ever have, cause they would never have the balls to act like that to anyones face, its the interweb, breeds keyboard warriors, best to just ignore them

If I'm going for optimal run team design and doing my two-teams-of-two operation I will kick any CQC classes, a third decoy engineer, or non-self detonating biotics. Don't take it personally, if your class isn't going to mesh with their strategy it just isn't, and there's not a lot you can do about it except req until you find yourself a good lobby. Network through the pugged golds that you clear to form a core running group and you won't have to random it anymore.

You know, before getting in the game, you can never know what king of gamer you are playing with. Some guys prefer reducing the risks by kicking the low N7 ratings.

N7 ranks mean nothing.

The multiplayer has become boring and tedious already, I don't know how people play it for so long.

TRUTH!

TRUTH!

I finally went back to the SP game. MP sucks!  It's just the same thing over & over & over. It started to make me feel stupid for doing the same thing over & over again like a retarded monkey.  (heh, I just described employment)

This is a bit silly because I have several classes I can easily switch to that are high level if you ask me to.

Get a mic and tell them you have Black Widow X, or whatever good guns you have.

I look at both your N7 rating and your gear before I decide if I want to stay in the lobby or not (I don't kick, I just switch lobbies). But I prefer to play together with N7 rank 50 and above.

Still, on bronze I don't care one bit. If I'm slightly enibriated, anything goes on silver as well. :P

Never ran into someone who kicked me when I had a low N7 rank.

Now that I'm N7 250, I can get away with anything (Widow on an level 2 adept on gold? 0 kick votes). Or when I'm actually paying attention and playing appropriately, people assume I'm good. Never bad. Neutral at worst.

So it's a one way street. Having a high N7 just pays off and has no negatives. Having a low N7 has negatives and no positives.

Why not just get a high N7? Not like it takes much time or effort.

Agreed. If people think it is only their N7 score getting them kicked then just lvl up some people? Level up 3 toons and thats N7 60 right there.. Mess up a spec and no respec card? Just promote and lvl up again and wow now your pretty much at 100.

I have every right to kick someone who i beleive will not be able to contribute to the team. As it is even the people that i do think can usually end up way below me in score. It's my choice to play with you and if you join my lobby then either play a character that i will have no problem with silver/gold or leave. I do not want to get to wave 8 when it starts getting rougher and end up failing because i let some lvl 4 human vanguard with a shotgun and a sniper rifle in my game because i wanted to be "nice" to someone who can't take the time to go level up to 14 or so in bronze real quick. Not only would i not get the full silver bonus for completing wave 10 but then i just wasted 10 - 15 minutes and made little amount of cash when i could have just booted them and gotten someone else who took the time to be more prepared and come in and help and not ask me to carry them.

You want to waste 20 minutes and fail on wave 10 because you took low lvls with crappy weapons then be my guest its your lobby. I promise you i will not be in it because i will just lol when i join it and then promptly leave knowing i just saved myself a fail run. That is your choice to make, and my choice is to boot anyone that i deem either completely dumb or hasn't put enough effort to be able to pull their own weight properly in emergency situations.

Anyone else that agree's with me hit me up in a message and i will gladly play silver/gold with you on xbl and not have fail groups.

- btw i don't care if my grammer is wrong or words are misspelled.:pinched:

How do you know that's why you are being booted? I play on xbox live and I don't see many boots on level 20 characters. Sometimes there's a lolzwut vote for someone but it's hard to get a whole room to vote them out unless theres a pretty good reason. Like maybe they needed a space for a freind to join and you landed in their lobby right before they could change it to private. Or you have a lolzwut weapon loadout like for example a widow AND a claymore on a caster class. Or they possibly refuse to play with anyone without a working mic. Etc, etc.

Basically unless you ask them why you were booted, you can't really say it's because your n7 was below theirs.

Dear god, Mass Effect 3 has the whiniest community ever.

"Boohoo, someone kicked me! I take it as a personal insult! How dare they consider what they want over what I want. If there's a unanimous vote to kick me it's clearly because they're elitist! I have every right to play with them whether they like it or not!"

Sheesh.

Clearly you've never seen the Bungie, DICE, or Activision forum.

I'm nearly 650 N7 ranking myself and I dont vote to kick anybody based on their level unless it's a blatant mistake on their part(N7 1, level 1 character joins Gold without knowing any better).

In fact just finished a Gold Geth run yesterday with a level 14 and level 7 in the group, my infiltrator being only 17 since I had just promoted it, and it wasnt too bad. It only took a little more effort and revives than usual.

Sometimes I see low level people with bad loadouts join in but I dont really care much about it, I just think to myself that this is probably going to be priceless, but they have to learn some way, dont they?

And like in that Geth run example, instead of having 2 disillusioned newbies now we have 2 more newbies with some insight into Gold difficulty and they can probably make use of that knowledge as they progress.

N7 ranking, and sometimes character level is mostly irrelevant anyway. I'd rather take a N7 20, level 15 asari adept with a Predator III into my gold run than a N7 200, level 20 asari adept with a Javelin I.

If you have to ask why, then you just proved my point.

I do votekick people who have their mic constantly on though while arguing with their family or hammering their keyboard like a drum set, or take 20 minutes to set up their character between games instead of using the multiplayer main menu for experimenting.

Hmm. A lot of people posting their comments here are terribly misinformed. Might want to take a look at all of my posts so that your comments won't seem out of place.

I'm n7 80ish and I never get booted out of silver rooms. sometimes people start to boot me in bronze, but I just bail if I see two x's because I don't want to chill with folks that want to boot me.

if I am trying to play silver I do room hop until I find at least two other folks who appear competent with their load out.

what is odd is when the x's start popping between matches after you just lead the room

This doesn't happen to me, but I do join horrible groups of lowbies with no clue how to even beat bronze but they're queued for gold/silver. So I can see why people are getting fed up with characters that look like they might underperfrom.

It's mostly idiots who get booted and unfortunately they're usually too dumb to understand the real reasons why. It's the double curse of incompetence. . .

Everytime i've seen someone booted it was because of their moronic weapon/mod choices for their class or because they still don't understand that there are is something called equipment that is used to make matches easier and quicker.

Going slightly off-topic, it still amazes me how many matches I've played with pubs on Silver/Gold where we've lost because 3 out of 4 people don't even think to use their grenade launchers.

. . . And i'm sure some of these individuals come running to the forums after being booted to cry about elitists kicking people because their n7 rank isn't above 100.

Again read all of the information I provided. The types of behavior you are describing doesn't apply to me.

Also Clopin, are you on PC or console? I'm hearin from people that pc doesn't have this problem, but only console does.
