How does the gamefaq poll show any more justification than the one here?
I just waltzed in,voted, and left.
Anyone can vote on that, even if they don't have the game.
Pro-enders grandmothers can vote for crying out loud.
Yeah but who is going to go out of their way to vote if they have no opinion on it at all?

I find this poll at least a little unfair. Being on as open a forum as it is, a lot of people will vote having never played ME3 (IE Wii users)/ never heard of the issues and just think the very concept of changing an ending makes us sound entitled.
This.
It'd be nice if they actually listed the issues people have with the endings, for a start. Like the lies we were told, the lack of our decisions mattering and then turning them all irrelevant, plot holes, dues ex machinas, etc.
And I'd rather "Absolutely, if it's what the fans want" be changed to "Absolutely, it's a mess and they lied".

No matter the outcome it will be greatly effected by those that abuse the broken and easily exploitable voteing system Gamefaqs has.

I voted in polls on Gamefaqs before when I didn't own any of the games. It isn't that hard and it's right there.... So yeah.

To be fair, even some who acknowledge how bad the ending is don't actually want to change the final result. They just don't want it to be the collage of nonsense that it currently is, or they want a clearer explanation for what exactly happens to all the characters that BioWare has built up throughout this entire character-driven trilogy but then saw fit to just totally abandon at the end.
So the question is a little off-point.
If anything most people just seem to want an expansion that offers other options while keeping the current endings, along with an epilogue that explains the consequences of your actions. It's just not realistic to change the endings themselves.
