How does the gamefaq poll show any more justification than the one here?
I just waltzed in,voted, and left.
Anyone can vote on that, even if they don't have the game.
Pro-enders grandmothers can vote for crying out loud.
True, but the difference is that here, most who come are at least interested in the game. On the gamefaqs front page, that isn't necessarily the case.

Another way the poll is unfair -- it is purposely constructed to divide the "yes" vote. It's meant to take the majority of us, slice us into smaller pieces, so that those that vote "no" actually appear to be the majority.KenbroSlice wrote...
I find this poll at least a little unfair. Being on as open a forum as it is, a lot of people will vote having never played ME3 (IE Wii users)/ never heard of the issues and just think the very concept of changing an ending makes us sound entitled.
SO remember when you cote on polls such as this, the answer must always be a resounding, unapologetic "yes" in favor of what we want to occur, or your vote doesn't count.

This poll is flawed. Any "poll" that has shades of grey as options, is invalid. You can have black, white and one shade of grey as choices.

No
As has already been stated, they make polls with specific wording so that it will tip the balance of the results toward the poll creators preferred outcome.

Option B: Give it to them so they shut up
Option C: I stand by BioWare's artistic integrity, apple pie, and all that is good in this world

The problem with this poll is there are too many people voting who have not finished the game or never played the game. Despite that it is still an even split, nevertheless, this poll should be taken for even less of a grain of salt than many of the others.
Yup, agreed. They really needed a "I never played any Mass Effect game" option on the poll. It's like asking someone who doesn't care a bit about politics who they'd vote for and why. Their opinion means nothing.
EDIT: A bad example, but all my mind can come up with this late, but I'll leave the sentiment as it is.

This kind of poll is quite unreasonable....
People who don't know anything about the issue will come and see '' Oh ..some angry fans trying to change a game's ending ?! That is not cool ! '' and they vote in favor for Bioware.
They actually need to make an article and THEN use the poll to see the results....sadly I guess that is too much to ask from News sites these days...
It's their way of saying "Hey, look! We made a poll! It was the minority all along, just as we had said! Our poll was totally unbias!" when they known darn well that the wording of the choices is playing a huge part on how outsiders are voteing. They did a good job in making outsiders believe all that want the ending changed are just whinners and that Bioware is the victim.

This doesn't mean we shouldn't keep voting yes of course. We damned well should. Just don't get discouraged if it doesn't go that way. Even if gamefaqs wasn't infamous for having polls that are out of sync with how things actually play out, it wouldn't mean much. 20,000 yes votes is 20,000 garenteed $10-$15 purchases, with a number several times that being highly likely. So numbers, will likely help us more than percentages.

Even if that weren't the case, the margin of difference between "yes" and "no" is far, far smaller than anyone at BioWare/EA should rightly be comfortable with.

No, it's OUR story. That's the entire point of Mass Effect. Being able to make decisions to make our OWN story and dictate the ending. People who voted for that probably have never played Mass Effect.

This is where the poll fails. Anyone looking at it just assumes we're acting like entitled 7 year olds.
Its not the case.
