What a stupid poll. It's so biased in the way it's stated that any reasonable outside person would say no. I hate polls that have leading questions. It's fraudulent and it denotes GameFaq's true motives with such a poll.

Agreed. Terribly-worded poll.

I agree with those saying that this poll is a little too open and ambiguously worded.

But I voted anyway ^_~

Why are there so many butthurt people ****blocking our efforts to get a proper resolution to the trilogy? I don't understand this back and forth anger. It's pointless and serves as a distraction from the issue at hand.

I think the reason it's not getting more "Yes" votes is because of what it says after: "If it's what the users want, they should get it." It's making people who believe the ending of Mass Effect 3 appear "entitled", or whatever.  It's kind of manipulative, actually. People are going to read that and automatically think, "the creative process is not a democracy, this is wrong," and not vote for it. But this is a special case. This is a series we've invested 100+ hours in, $180+ on, in a world where we could've been enjoying thousands of other pieces of entertainment instead, and we were promised -not just directly by the developers, but by the precedent set by the first two games - that this would all be for SOMETHING. That there would be a big payoff at the end, and it would all be worth it. Well, it wasn't. Everything Casey Hudson and the other people at Bioware said about the conclusion of the Mass Effect serious would be was a lie.

So you know what? The "Yes" option on that poll should be a little less manipulative, and a little more honest. It should say something like, "Yes, Bioware should keep their promises and deliver a REAL conclusion to the series". That would be a lot closer to the truth.

A small victory is still a victory. Hold the line

Edit: Both "yes" answers are horribly written.

"Yes, if that's what the users want"
"Probably, a lot of people seem to be angry about it"

A stupid poll, but one we will still win

Lot's of people voted "absolutely not". The only poll online where this is the case, I wonder where that all comes from - but we will overtake them, WE CAN DO IT!

The tone of the "yes" answers suggests their inclination - swamp that poll with Retakers!

Hold the Line!

Lol. There's only one definitive "Yes" answer while there's two "No" answers.

Anyway, voted.

The first three options support changing the ending and combined they exceed the value of the last two options that are against it. Very heartening stuff.

I'm sure many others have noted it, but it's also important to remember that many of those voting probably haven't played the game, and I wouldn't be surprised if the default response in that instance is that BioWare should not change the ending.

Absolutely not, it's their story, and they decide how it ends - 8971

To be honest, I almost voted "Maybe, if they feel it's the best thing for the story". Some people have called Bioware masters of story telling and if they want to retain that image then I feel that they should reevaluate how ME3's ending affects the series as a whole.

I find this poll at least a little unfair. Being on as open a forum as it is, a lot of people will vote having never played ME3 (IE Wii users)/ never heard of the issues and just think the very concept of changing an ending makes us sound entitled.

Yup, its the people that haven't played the game voting no. This poll sucks imo. Have them say, only if you played ME3 TO THE END can you vote and maybe we would see better results. (some will ignore that, trolls will be trolls)
