No statements by either company. I think talking to their customer service people on the phone is useless. Hell, it seems like most of the Sony ones don't even play games.

I suggest sending PMs to their community reps on their website:

Add some thoughts to this thread (once maintenance is finished):

I will continue to post links to articles from outside websites about this issue here and there. Sony has a ****** poor version of the game imo. I would rather spend a few minutes out of my day to do so and have my efforts be for nought than sit back and complain here. The more people that ask Sony WTF the better.

The issue needs to be addressed, and we deserve a straight answer. Not just from Sony, but from BioWare as well. Either Microsoft paid for their systems to get exclusives, or Sony really isn't working with BioWare on the issue for whatever reason. Or both. I am sure a compromise can be reached. Either by Sony working with BioWare, or BioWare thinking of something for the PS3.

All the blame can't go to Sony. I feel for everyone in this thread wanting an equal experience. Poorer textures, fps/freezing issues, bugged missions, missing events.. And the list goes on.

Bump so Bioware can have the best chance at seeing this 6 day old topic.

We are already aware of this issue, but thank you for sharing your thoughts. We know it may seem unfair to you, but we do not intentionally want to exclude any of our gamers from our events. This does not somehow resolve or make easier to fix the technical issues involved in this matter. We have said before that we are looking into the matter and hopefully will be able to open up our events to ALL platforms in the future.

Something tells me once you guys get around to and unlikely finish "looking into the matter" there won't be anymore weekend events.

There has to be some kind of workaround or compromise that can solve these exclusion problems. If the problem is that they can't harvest the info they need from PS3 users, then why not at least create some hard patches for PS3 that put the reward items into the pack pool for us? It would be fun to be able to assist in the next tally of monster-of the-week kill counts but if you put the items we aren't able to access INTO our pack pools, we will be able to compromise away not being able to truly participate in the pack reward multiplayer events until you can finally complete the process preventing PS3 inclusion in the first place.

A note to Bioware employees reading this thread:

This thread has been up and active for over 3 weeks. A solid notice of clarification as to the truth and details of the issue at hand as well as the current attempts to solve the issue would go a LONG way with those of us who have posted here.

Please treat us with the respect you deserve from us. We want to support you and Mass Effect, but with the near blackout and half-answers regarding this issue, it is increasingly difficult.

I to would like to voice my concern for the treatment of PS3 Mass Effect 3 owners myself. I own a copy of Mass Effect 2 on every system it was released, as well as Mass effect 1 on xbox 360. However due to certain circumstances, I was only able to purchase Mass Effect 3 for my Playstation 3 System. Had I known I would not be treated as an Equal Consumer to those who purchased the same game on either Xbox 360 or PC, I would have have waited to purchase until a time, I could have my Pc repaired.

I understand having trouble with perhaps the first community event if they were not prepared for undertaking it. Which shouldnt be the case at all considering they are considered one of the greater Video Game Developers of this generation. However, taking close to a month, and us with the ps3 version believing that we are not going to be getting any events in the near future, as well as the Battlefield 3 Soldier, or other misc codes from Mass Effect 3 Collectibles, has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Unless compensation or further information is delivered to us Ps3 Mass Effect Buyers is delivered, I will not be purchasing a secondary copy for my PC when it becomes available.

I am sorely disapointed with Bioware with this poor display of support for a portion of their fans and consumers.

Bump to keep this thread alive. So many people are starting their own version of this thread, we can keep posting in this one and grow our presence further until Bioware realizes they have to address this issue in a clear, customer deserved manor. No more half answers and hiding behind company rules about disclosure. This issue is affecting ALL PS3 players. We deserve the WHOLE story told to us ASAP. This has gone on for an unacceptable length of time. We deserve an honest explanation.

I think you (bioware) shouldnt launch any update or DLC that exclude 1 community. You should run test, verify your bussiness first before doing these things and launch it all at the same time. Because we all paid the same for the same content. If u weren't ready u should have holdd the DLC for a time when u finished negotiation or whatever you are doing with Sony, Microsoft, your mom, your dad or whoever doesnt allow you to treat us as equal. But now that you did this mess we have the right to ask quick resolve or details. It is not the first time you do this...<_<

Dear Bioware.

Thank you for working to include PS3 in the ongoing multiplayer events!

You can close this thread with my thanks. I hope our posts and efforts to push the issue were helpful in moving pushing through the red tape.

Looking forward to enjoying the next multiplayer event, and I'll try to take out some phantoms before the weekend is over!!

You get NO thanks from me BioWare. Make the ps3 version work FIRST and then I'll give you a tank you. Being able to participate in the weekend events does not mean squat if you can't play the game period...

It's often been said
That Mass Effect is dead
The critics repeat it en masse

But Mass Effect is alive
But I doubt it’ll survive
Because it's a pain in the ass.

You waited forever
And finally got Operation
To get to your Game you gotta cross Glitches.
One guy to your group is frightfully Noobish
And the other guy appears to Be an Elitists.

The game plays yuck
The Graphics suck
The Map set up is all wrong
And when you reach the Extraction zone
The Lag is five hours long.

But still
There's nothing like MP on ME3.

There's nothing like a BioWare game.

You swear you'll never Play again.
It's simply not worthwile

You make that vow
and yet somehow

You're back there In denial

That's why there's
There's nothing like MP on ME3.

There's nothing like a BioWare game

Til you Buy some thing better

There's nothing like MP on ME3

And though it is expensive at a 60+ bucks a throw
There's nothing like a BioWare game.

a Joke for Us PS3 users that get the Genophage treatment.
If ya can't laugh, you have my pity and nothing else.

It's people like you that keep saying "You'll be back." "You'll buy another BioWare game." that really cements my resolve to NEVER buy a BioWare game again. Besides the fact that BioWare has all but ignored the ps3 technical issues with Mass Effect 3. I can't even play the singe player much less the multiplayer. I've yet to even attempt the multi BECAUSE of the problems with the single player. Until BioWare acknowledges and fixes the ps3 version of Mass Effect 3, I will NEVER buy another BioWare game. NEVER...
