My WoW account! Just thought I'd share. This game has spoiled me and it's a singleplayer game. Going back to any MMO now would feel shallow to me. Not that I ever played WoW consistently or anything...

Cool, maybe later you can post your Facebook status updates and what you had for breakfast too?

I havent touched another game in 3 weeks..even thou alve already saved the Kingdom once so far.
My wife..whose NEVER finished a game in like 7 years, is still playing this.

All l can hope for is that we will be given many reasons to not touch another game or take a bog break for some time to come.

I am taking a break from MMO's as well. It is nice to actually RP for a change. It is sad that my preferred gaming style seems relegated to single player campaigns now-a-days but the massive community that swamped mmos when wow released really changed the genre. And I don't think Eve helped much either. Nor SWG.

I ended up playing Darkfall for a few months during beta and afterward. It was a huge improvement over wow but alas no meaningful character development. Perhaps Mortal Online will make it and be worth a try.

I have abandoned all games for this one.

I think only Mass Effect 2 will pull me away.

The Old Republic will be the only MMO i will pick up after WoW ruined the genre for me.

I'd be more impressed if you were raiding 25+ hours a week, and this game made you decide to stop playing WoW entirely. :)

For me... it was working a retail job that made me give up my wow un-paid part time job (that and I got bored of spending 25+ hours raiding each week). But, if I had still been playing wow, this game would've made me have to take a break from wow because it's such a good game and you can play it for hours on end. :)

See, I've never been much of a raider... simply can't stand being chained to my computer chair for hours on end, almost as if I have no control. But, I have done it.

I have actually been considering Old Republic and I'm not even someone you'd call a Star Wars fan.
