Only Asari (wich means Liara) are able to procreate regardless of their partner's race. Any other LI shouldn't be able to do that at all. But that aside, its unthinkable to repopulate a planet with just one woman, let alone the whole damn galaxy. She would have to turn into a Broodmother form Dragon Age Origins to be able to do that. O_O

I would imagine that Liara's many kids would be the only genetically viable survivors as she can reproduce with several different species, giving her siblings enough disparate DNA to make non-fugly kids. My poor LI is even going to have to have a go at Tali to have a shot. She would honestly be best served by breeding several times with EVERY person on the ship. Hell, at least she will have time to consider her options as she WATCHES EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM DIE OF OLD AGE!

Yeah yeah, but atleast I can get those images out of my head now. Liara has to give birth to my baby first too.

Tali and Garrus walking off the ship looking all happy, despite facing starvation, is still a nice image to end the series on though.

It could be the other  way around and everybody but them starves to death.
Way better than to be reduced to Joker baby producers.

Asari live for a thousand of years, so nothing impossible here.
Of course, some incest is in place after the original Normandy crew dies of, but asari probably don't suffer from human genetic and moral limitations in that regard.
