A year ago I'd never would have imagined myself desecrating Mass Effect and its characters in such a matter. But after getting these sh!it endings BW gave us, there's no point in 'treasuring' the franchise. Their message to me is that ME is dead.

Its like seeing the Pope pee on the bible. You'd probably unzip your pants too.

Let's say I am wrong for the sake of argument, even if mass relays wipe out its adjacent solar system, not all people live near a mass relay. Asari, Elcor, Krogan, Human, Turian, Salarian all have colonies or homeworlds in a solar system that would not be destroyed by an mass relay. These include fuel stations for FTL drives. The Exonet or galaxy-wide communication network would still be intact. This doesn't include the 99 percent of the galaxy undiscovered and entire species not advanced enough to be targeted by the reapers.
