I was EXTREMELY sad when I realized we weren't going to have a conversation with Harbinger... Bioware really messed that up as well.... I actually couldn't believe it.. :(

Yep... My picture explains it very well. I was really upset and sad.

I beg everyday that Bioware have a trick up their sleeve and have NOT forgotten Harbinger. It would be like Darth Vader suddenly disappearing in The Return of The Jedi...

I don't know. TIM has that seductive Martin Sheen voice... Anyway, still holding out hope for a Harbinger-related DLC.

Yep.....Then Harbinger landed by the light column in silence which i find odd (how come he was very vocal in the last game and now he has taken a vow of silence??)

I am 99.9% positive that the starchild is Harbinger. Remember that Reapers can project a holographic form when communicating with people. The starchild is just a fancier-looking hologram.

Harbinger = current leader of the Reapers
Starchild = current leader of the Reapers
Harbinger = starchild

Pretty sure he chose the form of a human child as a way to show that he's come in peace.

Man! I hope you are right! I really do. I hope Bioware have this in their mind. Thinking about this.

A question.

We see Harbinger shoot from right under his "mouth" where his 5th leg/tendril should had been.

Sovereign shot laser from all his tendrils, at the top of them. In ME3 all Reapers shoot from under their "heads". Has there been a retcon or what? I dont see why they shouldnt shoot from all their tendrils like Sovereign did at the battle of the Citadel. :?

They definetly would destroy a lot more vehicles that way instead of using just one laser. No one on the battle above Earth used all their 5 tendrils/legs.

They definetly must release some kind of DLC with the final confrontation and conclusion to Harbinger. They cant leave this open, without an end to the Harbinger chapter.

If they just ignore Harbinger from now on, even all the new informations they revealed about him in ME3, i will definetly not be buying anything ME related. Guess Diablo 3 will be my savior on this matter. We should absolutely have got an answer before 15th May.

Nothing harbinger says will ever compete with the chat with sovereign

That's how I like to remember the reapers, that talking with a single organic is just 'beneath' them.

Add me to the missing Harbinger list.  I waited all game to sock him in that glowing smily face of his and when he finally showed up I was like :o

...and then he flew off never to be seen again:(

Sorry, Bioware, you just can't remove the main villain or at least the face of the main villains from the story like that, unless you intentionally meant to wave bye bye to any menace or conflict whatsoever.

Perplexing, most perplexing<_<

If Harbinger and Sovereign switched places, would you think Harbinger was way more badass?

In a lot of occasions the first encounter or the first thing introduced is almost the best.

No, I think Sovereign was 100x better, and always will be.

Yeah, you are right about that. Even if Bioware released 10 different Reapers with 10 different voices and maybe one of them was praised, in your world nothing would beat Sovereign. Ever.

I don't think the conversation with Sovereign will ever be topped.

"I am the vanguard of your destruction."

"You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it."

I like harbinger too, it was quite a challenge fighting him in ME2.

lets consider that im a HUGE fan of the series. ive played ME1 a million times, kindof played ME2 but wasnt intersted in it, and ive enjoyed ME3. i frequent this forum enough to keep updated on ME info. i know and knew enough about the MEuniverse and its story that i feel i could explain it pretty well to a newb.

but haveing said that, i had no idea that was even harbinger at the end of ME3 there! really, there wasnt even noticable dialogue(TO ME) about the fact that I WAS CONFRONTING THE KING OF THE REAPERS AT THE END OF ME3.

HUGELY MISSED OPPORTUNITY.

Exactly

Because sovereign set the tone for the Reapers, and how EA should have kept them.

Harbinger showed that the reapers had let Shepard get to them, when sovereign treated Shepard as an ant.

Harbinger let Shepard get on the reapers nerves

I suppose one conversation would have been cool, but what else could he really have said?

Harbinger: "Your attempt at stopping us is useless, you will all die!"

Shepard:
-"Nuh uh!"
-"No u"
-"You're probably right"

Yes, AND telling us he is the largest and oldest Reaper in the Reaper armada. Why give all those details if we are not gonna face him, one last time, before the end?
