Apparently the voice actor is even credited for other roles, making mute Harbinger a deliberate choice. I guess they overreacted to the comical response to his ME2 combat quotes. A couple of genuine conversations would have added a lot in my opinion. I also feel the Rannoch Reaper had the least imposing voice of the three.
But the Comical response are what made Harbinger great, his taunting and the fact that it no only fits his character but its ratheri insulting but makes for great internet meme's is a Win - Win.
Like the Joker - not sure if serious face

As much as Harbinger sounded like a dodgy wwe wrestler trying to troll shepard, it was really weird to have this massive leader of the reapers who you build up for the entire middle act of the trilogy, and then not even give him a speaking role.
Weird story choice.
I can only agree with that. I really wanna hear Casey Hudson and Mac Walters answer to this and if they have any trick up their sleeve when it comes to Harbinger. :innocent:

Voted. All of that build-up in ME2+Arrival (didn't you have a short conversation with Harbinger in Arrival? It's been a while), and all you get is a useless cameo of him in ME3? Shame on you, BioWare, shame on you!
Yes, you are correct. You did have a conversation with Harbinger in Arrival DLC. But not as long as the one with Sovereign in Mass Effect 1.
I am kinda sure Bioware have not forgotten him. Probably will come in a DLC later.

The endings are shi... ASSUMING CONTROL awesome!!

It just baffles me that there is so much inherently wrong with this game. Now everyone might not share my opinion and I am in no way a professional writer, but really, what were BioWare smoking when they made this game? The endings are a big factor on what is wrong with this game, but it's also a lot of other things that make absolutely no sense. Were BioWare too focused on developing multiplayer, Kinect, and hiring Clint Mansell? They should have used that money and hired tenth graders to write this game, or at the very least, David Cage of "Heavy Rain" fame.

Hahaha! That was a funny post. Anything you think of they missed except the ending? Are you thinking about Harbinger chapter not getting a conclusion?

*I still want to see those DNA centers/Slaughter houses and troop tansports. They are only mentioned in the codex.
*New appearance options, colors in coop multiplayer for each class/race.
*1 new coop multiplayer map.
*2 hour long singleplayer campaing where you will have the long awaited final confrontation with Harbinger.
Do it Bioware!

Sovereign used all 5 tendrils/arms and i think he used the 6 small legs too at the battle of the Citadel.
But in ME3, all Reapers on Earth and all other planets, final battle above Earth, all those Reapers shoot their laser from under their "head", their 5th leg. Why not use all legs? Too powerful? They concentrate all power into 1 deadly beam?
Harbinger used 3 beams that came under his "head" and where his 5th leg should had been.
Do you think there has been a retcon or the Reapers just dont.... use it?

I liked that talk with the Reaper Destroyer on Rannoch. Despite it being a small one, it's the only one we can actually shoot in the face with a giant lazor. That scene alone is worth having a less menacing Reaper to chat with this time. I do miss Harby though, when he landed near the conduit I was hoping he'd finally speak, breaking the silence at that very moment would have been a very powerfull moment for the fans. But nooooooo...
Wait... So you say you want to have a chat with a less menacing Reaper than the Reaper Destroyer on Rannoch? What would that be? A Brute? Banshee?

Did anyone else feel the same? If not, did you want more conversations with the Reapers? Were you satisfied with just the 1 minute conversation with the Reaper Destroyer on Rannoch? Or do you want more?
I have added a poll to this thread, please vote.

Oh yes man I felt the same way!! One of the first things I was so excited about when I popped in the disc was how awesome it would be to finally confront Harbinger directly. Alas, we only got a ridiculous cameo. All that buid-up, all that awesome smack we would hear from him in ME2 was for was for nothing!!
