I'm a fan of Mako too but to be honest, it wasn't so much about the vehicle but about the opportunity of exploring new worlds and having new combat scenarios. Way better than fetch quests.

There's a part in the game where Cortez and Vega have a satirically fanboy argument over which is better (Mako or Hammerhead) that I found very entertaining. Vega of course supported the Mako, being the manly-man jarhead that he is. But the important thing is that the devs hang a giant lampshade on what was wrong with both vehicles, so they're at least aware of the problems.

My hope is that we'll get a cool Firewalker-esque DLC (or Overlord 2 etc.) with a new toy that fixes the problems of the old ones. Some multiplayer DLC that adds vehicles to take on fortified areas would be welcome too.

Always hoped ME3 would've had a quick Mako segment in the vein of the car chase in shadow broker, with some kind of "they finally fixed the controls on the Block D models!" lampshade.

In fact, it's about the only pre-ending DLC I'd pay for with a grin on my face with the current ending. :P

Actually that was one of the worst decisions they made. Making the game stupid so even console players can do it.

You keep telling yourself that.

What exactly was smart about collecting trinkets in the brick-on-wheels?  Or looking at the pretty skybox?
