I like Archon Robes and Warden Commander's Armor. Dalish leather armor set if you don't mind dressing like a mud-dweller

I don't have Warden's Keep. So far, I like the Juggernaut set best out of the "special" armors. It really says "knight in shining armor", which I enjoy playing as. Honorable mention goes to the Legion of the Dead armor and the Templar armor. With all three, though, skip the silly helmets. They look too small, and I don't like being unable ti see the characters' faces. But overall, it's actually the plain ordinary chain mail and dwarven armor, both
medium, that I think look the best. Preferably in veridium or
silverite.

Light armor is a complete disappointment. It lacks detail, the colors are bland, and it's too skimpy on the women.

As awesome as BioWare are with these rpgs they always imo utterly fail on mage equipment and heavy sort of armor for the females!.

Like i gave that Ancient Elven armor to Leliana, i then went into a conversation with her and notice the armor had placed her "oh so lovely twins" down on her stomach, heh. =d

Armor of the legion is the best looking armor in the game imo

Robes? Well they all just suck except that Avernus robe looks pretty good on guys and Morrigans robe looks good on her

Warden commander Armor definitly looks great on females

But it requires Warden's keep.

I haven't found any mage robe that I particularly like though.

@purplelady Its called robe of the witch, I also downloaded a mod robe from dragon nexus to try out which was exactly the same so I was able to have the two of them wearing the same looking robe. I cant remember where I picked them up at though I will have to think about it, dont know if I bought them in denerim or found them.

Robe of the Witch is the best in the game. Leliana never leaves the camp, she just sits next to the fire in that robe and warms bedrolls.

There is also a yellowish/gold version of the blue one called the Tevinter Robe.

The elf looks sooooo small next to the giant of Morrigan.  Posted Image

For a good laugh, put either of those on Sten.  What horror movie villian does it make you think of?

I like the Warden armor a lot, also the robes above, and even though it's not overly fancy I do like the medium armor you get made from the Dragon Scale  (not the crappy armor from the Drake Scales).

The Chasind Robes look identical to the clothes Morrigan and the elf PC are wearing in the post above yours. They're colored differently though.

Also, count me as another vote for Warden Commander's armor. In my opinion it's the best looking armor a female character can find. As far as robes go, I'm not particularly fond of any of them. Chasind and Witch robes are unique and stylish, and I especially love the boots; but they lose me with the over-the-top cleavage.

I guess I'd have to go with the Archon Robe model simply because it isn't as bland as standard robes, and not as boobtastic as Chasind/Witch. :?

Ack! I should have noted that in my last post. Archon's Robes are identical to Reaper's Vestments; although their coloring is slightly different, I think.

There are only three robe models I've noticed: the standard ones you start the mage origin in, Chasind style, and lastly the Reaper's/Archon model. There is sadly very little variation in mage robes, but at least it isn't as limited as leather armor. :pinched:

The robes all come in various colors but are only available in those three styles as far as I've noticed.

Some of those are not combat clothes, but I was just grabbing what I had in inventory all at once.  I was racing to do it all quick so image quality isnt the best so I could keep files small in size.  Also don't want to derail this thread but all of the basic types are shown here, just maybe some variations on colors not shown.

Some are for sale in Denerim in the Wonders of Thedas shop.

I've gotten a couple off mob drops here and there, mostly off named mobs I think.

I'm prepping to make a go at my 4th playthrough now. Maybe I'll keep notes this time around for all the clothing.

The wedding dress you get for starting a city female elf. (Starts out on your wedding day).

I think the Queen's armor is really pretty. You have the option to create one with stats in the toolset.

I like the Archon robes, though they look cooler in "Magister Lord Red" apparently. Still, I can't bring myself to take Morrigan out of her personal attire. Its just so "her". It also amuses me that it adds to cold damage when she must be freezing....
