There should be endings with Shepard dying, not all 16, but some/most of them.
Would you be fine with Shepard dying?

I'd be fine with Shepard dying.
Heck, I expected it and was totally geared up for it.
If Shepard had went the way of Victus or Mordin, Single handedly going up and fixing the Crucible because he was the only one who could do it, I would have been crying tears of joy and sadness at the end because it was over, and My Shepard had made a notable difference in the universe. Instead, it just all seemed rather... confused. And that's where the issues lie.

I'll watch Shepard die over and over again while eating popcorn as long as we could get a ****ing ending that makes even the slightest bit of sense and an ending cut-scene that lasts more than 2 minutes and doesn't leave the galaxy in a technological dark age. Over and over again.

No. There should be multiple endings, some where Shepard lives, and others where he dies.

I have zero issues with Shepard dying. It's the end of the story.
And there should be some sacrifice, you can't fight a battle like that without losing something important, that would devalue the presented challenge (admittedly much like everyone coming back from a suicide mission).
I rather liked DA:Os ending, where your sacrifice felt like a victory. You were sparing others, taking responsibility and asking no more of those around you. The fact that you could lawyer it felt it a little cheap if I'm honest.
Sacrifice can be a strength, and I'd have liked to have seen that.

Shepard´s death lost any importance after ME2. If anything, his death should be tied to the death of all life, much like the worst ending of ME2...

I'm fine with Shepard dying in some endings but I also want some in which he survives.

Absolutely
And we can stop wasting space on the discs where we have to show blue babies, houses on Rannoch etc.
As long as we get a meaningfull conclusion.

He CAN die for me as well as he CAN live. It should be hard to preserve him from dying though. But I'd like some perfect ending if my decisions leads to ultimate destroying Reapers with really small casualties. It should be hard, hardest thing in all video games to achieve such victory. And I'd love to have ending like- You've lost but thanks to You- next cycle have more chances to win. Or- defeat was total. Whole galaxy will be harvested in next few years and Protheans heritage is lost. Next cycle is on its own. I won't every kind of ending dependable on my decisions- from best to worst. Even with destroying galaxy.

There should be endings with Sheppard dying, AND endings with Sheppard living.
You know, 'choice' and all those strange notions from a forgotten past.
A living Sheppard, for a RPG like MassEffect, is important gameplay-wise.
Most people wont ever replay the game if the character is doomed to die a the end. Most people need to enjoy the game and get satisfaction from it, not end depressed.

I honestly don't care if Shepard dies - as long as I feel satisfied that the sacrifice was worth it.

No, I don't want my Shepard to die! One of many options, sure, but not the only one. For me, ME was always about hope while fighting against impossible odds and the ending should reflect that.
Actually, for me, sacrifice feels a little cheap, because it means you don't have to live with your choices and their consequences. You're just gone and somebody else can clean up the mess.

Going to respond despite the fact that you typically troll the forums, this however was actually a legitimate question and a good one.
I would like Shep to have the option to live, but I am perfectly fine if she has to die. What I want is a coherent ending with some closure to all the work you do throughout the series. I also want the death to mean something, if all life in the galaxy is going to be destroyed anyway to stop the reaper cycle for the next civilization then its very hollow and unsatisfactory.

Killing Sheperd, like all things in Mass Effect, should be a choice. I dont want Sherperd to have to die, but rather a consequence of a choice (but not a Fallout 3 ending choice).

Yes. I'm totally fine w/ my Shepard dying, including my entire squad. Just so long as it means something other than the annihilation of galactic civilization. And if it's done in a way that actually makes sense, and not some BS deus ex machina plot-god inserted in the last 5 mins that gives arbitrary choices that I feel compelled to just accept & not question.

I agree. It should be like in ME2 if I don't meet certian objectives and make the right choices then I should die. It shouldn't be mandatory though.

I'd be fine with Shep dying (preferrably in one or more of SEVERAL possible outcomes) if only the rest of it makes coherent sense and isn't plot hole riddled like swiss cheese.

I wouldn't mind Shep dying in some of the endings but not all, after all he promised Liara (in my play through) that they would have lots of little blue children.

I want a choice. I have more than one Shepard. I'd love the option of replaying the game for different endings. In my own personal "canon," I want Shepard to live. It would be great if she could make a cameo in a future game.
