Did not find a thread for these using the search option so i am adding one here. IF there is however a thread already and you know of it please, reply with the link to it, ill move it there. I have removed some of the portions of the post compared to the one i posted to another thread(posted it in 2 places as it is relevant in both) since they might be considered spoilers.

This is my combined opinion on the game itsel right up till the ending,
the multiplayer game mechanics and the ending with its planetoid sized
plotholes. I will post this to the user
reviews also as this fits both threads(User reviews and "so we cant get
the ending we want after all") And since it wasnt just the endings, but
the whole damn game had a rushed and half assed feel to it. I do not assume i will be dishing out anything new apart my personal experience thus far.

First i would like to start with the new thing in the mass effect series, Multiplayer:

I generally like the multiplayer, I like
the unlock options, it gives new things in a nice steady pace and the
scenery and graphics in the mission maps go really well hand in hand
with the given theme and the sound effects are generally awesome aparts
from a couple of annoying ones(like reave sound effect on a constant
loop)

But then we get to the really bad things... and theres alot of them.

Lets start with bugs.

There
are a **** load of them, and i hate to admit, but i have encountered
even more bugs than in the demo itself The physics are unstable at best
causing alot of falling through the map or getting pushed outside or
above the map.

Many of the weapons are broken( BW WTF why
the hell did you nerf FALCON!!!! you didnt even fix it before nerfing)
as an example falcon and a couple of other slow firing weapons seems to
work on latency basis, falcon for example since after the nerf.
sometimes miss fires 2-4 times in row, you see the firing animation, you
lose ammo, but no grenade flies out or damage is dealt to enemies, this
happens alot in games where you got even a slight delay, since the nerf
hit falcon(which wasnt really needed) this bug can result in you shooting for 8 seconds dealing no damage but taking all the hits from enemies in the face.

then some of the skills are broken, but ill take only 2 examples; Example
1. Sabotage sometimes the geth or turret or atlas(this is the first
hack that should last the longest time) just stares at you for a second,
then proceeds to killing you, despite the fact, hes still hacked, now i
dont mean hack when he was already shooting at you, But hack, when he
wasnt even facing you or was aware of you -.- Example2. Cloak, sometimes
when you manually disable the cloak, to get the cooldown done earlier,
or to cloak at a better time, when you hit the cloak after doing this,
sometimes doesnt cloak you when you are in cover. leaving you in a nasty
spot.

then we have the store... half the time when you purchase
something the poor servers cant handle it -.- i dont think it needs
anything else to describe the problem, i bet everyone has encountered it
by now.

And last as last THE WORST PROBLEM!
in the multiplayer Communication, its not that people dont communicate,
people just cant communicate, the audio codec used for the voice
communication is fo Effing horrible, unless your playing in the same
country as everyone else, you cant use it for ****, and even if you do,
it leaves every 1/2 or 1/3 words out you talk to your mic, leaving your
team guessing what you said, or it just simply doesnt work properly and
you are forced to scream to the mic for the damn game to pick up the
audio, even that fails most of the time. And since dont have a text
based way to communicate ( as was hinted in the demo options, and button
for it was removed in retail WTF BW way
to **** over your customers) you get one person in propably every 4th
or 5th public game that can communicate and the rest of the team just
simply does its best to follow the lead.

Now the singleplayer section of ME3

I dont have anything bad to say about the graphics, they serve their purpose and so do the soundscape and music also, BUT! there
are alot of other problems in the singleplayer. As someone already
wrote before me they left alot of things out of the end product and i
would not be surprised, as it seems like a damn rush job to knit the
game pieces together. I also liked the how you
could purchase everything from the normandys shuttlebay and the semi
finished look of the new fitting for the normandy SR-2. Also the
loadtimes have been nicely improved compared to the ME1 and ME2.

All in all the graphics, sound, and the general theme and feel of the game is nice untill you encounter a problem -.-

Now to the problems of the SP:

-Idiotic "Do it all button" i think thats self explainatory.

-Bugs
oh do we have lot of them ladies and gents, we could sell our bug
collection for someone who has a habbit of killing them with ether and
pinning em on a cork tablet.

I personally have encountered
roughly 17-20 bugs that nearly killed the game for me, but apart from
those, there are a handfull that are so obscene they made me stop
playing the game for a day or 2. These are in no particular order.

This happened to me several times during the first 1-2 hours of
exploring once i was alloved to do so. You go to a new star system, and
just happily scan the system for that precious fuel or for the war
assets, then the reapers come, you notice that one asset counted for
50% of that systems assets and think that meh,
if the reapers catch me ill just resume and scan for the other... well
they caught me, i pressed resume and for some ****ing reason, i was only
taken to load screen, i thought hmm i propably miss clicked, then i
just loaded the latest save(autosave) and i am
back on the bridge of the normandy, i noticed it had the credits
recovered in the bottom right... i decided to chek my total...
it
said 0!!! then i started checking if anything else had gone awry, my
imported lv 30 something character, was now all of a sudden... LV1 -.-
this didnt stop me, i just loaded an earlier save and continued from a
bit earlier state, but it happened again 2 hours later -.- at that point
i was just done for the day.

#2. idiotic physics i thought
squadmates doing stupid **** was in the past, well i was wrong, it
became painfully apparent on the mars mission -.- when it came time to
enter the mars facility, james decided it was fun to hug the elevator
button and get himself stuck there.... Restart mission. Just one example
of how physics can screw you over indirectly in this game.

#3.
Broken quests. Some of the quests can be broken, and i was not saved
form this either during my first play through of the game, i fell victim
to 2 such side missions, first being the hanar diplomat mission, where
simply after alloving the spectre acces to the terminals, i go to first
terminal, press space on the terminal, i hear one sentence of the
dialog, then someone in the backgorund starts talking, and poof.... side
mission is as good as dead, terminal cant be activated again, and i
cant acces the other 2 terminals no matter what you do. Other side
mission being the pillar of strenght, apparently if you accidently push
spacebar twice when you go and turn it into the batarianfella, it cuts
the dialog, and you lose the pillar, but dont get rewards -.-

Some other problems in the singleplayer campaign:
-You
spend 70-80% of the game time scanning, walking on the citadel or
normandy listening to people... Guys, bioware.. I thought i bought an
RPG action game, not a Social experiment simulation game -.-

-You
need to save insanely often to avoid bugs or missed side quests. My
first play through saw an excess of 170 save times because of the
caution i had to take my friend wasnt as cautious and he paid for it, he
missed some quests, or did somethings wrong due to glitches in game
mechanics, and still he had 80+ save times on hes play through.

-The
Weight system is kinda messed up. How can a small pistol, weigh as much
as a shotgun?!?!?!?! Logic the Sci-fi of mass effect.

And now the big bad wolf. Ending(s)

You
really cant talk about Endings, Rather an Ending, Over which you have
no other influence than you get to choose how the and with what color,
does the galaxy get screwed over. I personally
did find the Synthesis ending Semi- pleasing [THIS  HAS BEEN REDACTED to avoid spoiling non redacted post at the thread "so we cant have the ending we want after all thread] but when a game company has had us the fans, customers
the people that provide them with the money for their lavish life style,
Fork 100-200 € on both prewious games and DLC's and what not, and then you treat us like little children on the 4th of july(or new years eve depending which you prefer) tell
us, we can only have one cute explosion, and we have to pick from one
of three colors, then we get all exited about it, and they tell us to
watch it from inside behind a window, then right as the rocket wooshes
up, you bioware come inside and pull the curtain down so we miss
everything.

At the risk of sounding "destructive critic" i
will say this, a trained monkey would have left less plotholes and
things explained, and he would have still gotten my money from the
DLC's. And I believe the community has already shown this, I am
not a huge fan of disney endings, but most of the ending ideas conjured
by the community are way better what the dev team had come up with. Lets just list a few things that a good "artist" would have added to this piece of "art"

They would have:

-explained
what happens to the fleets, What happens to Races of the galaxy and how
did they react to the color of explosion we chose

-Shown which
races picked themselves up from the neck, and started rebuilding, and
which races would have succumbed to anarchy and spiraled to extinction
after losing their infrastructure. Or which colonies survived.

-What really happened to the crew of normandy

-What
happened in the very end would in all reality lead to an E.L.E.

These are just a portion of questions left in the story theres ALOT OF THEM!

conclusion:

Graphics: 9

soundscape: 10

Music: 10

User friendliness: 7½

Replay value: 4

Story: 5½

Controls: 2

Entertainment value: SP 4½ MP 8

overal 5½ out of 10
