HOLD THE LINE, for Marauder Shield's sake!

I feel that is implied with point 2 of our concessions: changing the message from "Don't buy the game" to "Don't buy the game until after proper Endings DLC has been released". I would categorize DLC as part of that.SilencedScream wrote...
Add the concession that we're not purchasing DLC until ending DLC is released and I'll agree.

Bioware statements have enough vagueness on their own; I'm just saying that ours should be crystal clear.

Seems like a good middle ground to me. I have not yet review-bombed anywhere, nor do I plan to start. My campaign is solely here on the forums and by word of mouth, and I make sure to tell people exactly why I don't recommend the game (right now). Everyone I have spoken to about it knows that I believe it is a fantastic game, and that the only problems lie with the ending.

Agreed OP - and jmarkows.
I think this is, in a way, one of those "more flies with honey than with vinegar" kind of things - but we've got to bury the issue in honey, not just leave it out for the flies to come and fetch their snack. The whole "review bombing" thing is just petty, and some of the ad hominem attacks on BioWare/staff are just silly. I think the best thing for all of us to do is to stay civil and respectful, articulate our protest as best we can, and hold steady.
Holding the line. *salute*

If consumers are so disgusted that they have to post up damning reviews then they are entitled to do that.
Nobody should have to change their opinion, if they don't like it people can post whatever review they want to and recommend it to whoever they want to.

1. All three of those things on the list are important to me - that is to say that 'closure' and 'explanation' won't fix these endings for me because the endings, as they stand, render all my previous decisions meaningless. Our choices should matter.
2. Endings which still force me to accept the flawed logic of the RGC and choose between the same three, almost identical endings, will not be satisfactory. Explaining all the plotholes in the ending (and I think you're going to struggle to do that without using indoctrination theory) still doesn't take away from the horrendous logic that is: "you want to kill all organics so they can't create synthetics ... which will kill all organics."
3. Please do not fill plot holes with Selleys-no-more-gaps 'let's change the lore' edition. E.g. the relays exploding? Will destroy entire systems. You told me that's what happened. I saw it happen in Arrival. It's why I was stuck in prison at the start of ME3. If this time the relays explode and they don't destroy whole systems, well that's just backflipping on your lore and makes no sense.

Instead, I suggest we make concessions. Namely, the following:
- We stop review-bombing
- We amend our message: Instead of saying "Don't buy the game", we will say "Buy the game, but only after the endings DLC has been released"
i disagree with #2 there, buy the game, unconditionally, decide for yourself how you feel about the endings, but most of all, enjoy the journey if/when the DLC is released, continue it.
discounting the sheer thrill of the rest of the game because of the endings is madness i think....

Also, if they really want to negotiate, they could just sit down with someone like Jeremy Jahns or the Forbes guys and see what our points are, since overwhelming majority seems to agree with both sources.

It is not my responsibility to solicit people into buying a game that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
