I picked up the Ultimate Edition and the manual says that L3 is to lock on to an enemy, which I assume is so you can strafe around them, but it doesn't seem to ever lock on to enemies.  Is the lock on broken in the Ultimate Edition? or is it something that unlocks later on and I have just gotten that far?  Makes getting behind enemies kind of a pain when you can't lock on and circle around them, you just run off in a direction when you move sideways.  Any ideas anyone?  Thanks.
