Anything is better than the starchild and the RGB ending and the elements of the current ending though.
Hmmm ok how about this then...
Shepard gets killed by Harbinger's beam. Then the reapers proceed to kill every living thing. Inlcuding Joker, everyone on board the Normandy and all the characters you've met throughout entire game.
That sounds like a better ending to you does it?
Seriously the ending could have been a lot worse than what we got. In fact 90% of the endings they could've chosen would still likely have ended up with just as many people ****ing.
Quick death is preferable to being dropped on gilligan's planet and starving to death. All the others who do survive end up in a galactic dark age. Planets are no longer able to sustain a population, interstellar travel is impossible without the relays. Lots more people will die. Yeah being killed by the Reapers quickly is better...

I love how people say that everyone who believes in IT always treats it as the one and only truth and that all other people are stupid but from what I see if anyone tries to express their belief in IT they are jumped on no matter if they expressed their thoughts intelligently and without bias
And you dont see the hypocricy and irony in your statment?

Why wouldn't they be?

This is silly. 12 lightyears a day, refuelling by scooping helium-3 from gas giants, 50 hours until you need to discharge your drive core. Sure sounds like interstellar travel to me. Edit: do you maybe mean something different by "interstellar travel" than its ordinary meaning?
As for "gilligan's planet," you've got to make some big assumptions to make that one work. The Charon Relay only puts you a couple of hundred l.y. from Sol, max, so for them to be more than a few weeks away from Earth they've got to have made at least four relay jumps. (Charon-Arcturus, Arcturus to ???, ??? to gilligan's planet -- you need that fourth jump since there's no way a garden world at the terminus of one of the Arcturus primaries isn't colonized already.)

IT is, at the moment, the best interpretation of what we have seen/were forced to endure in the last minutes of ME3. And if Bioware dedicates themselves to it, IT can lead to a truly awesome ending...
And only the IT can really make some sense of the otherwise surreal, overly symbolic and utterly unrealistic situation we have with Starbinger and everything after. The many story-telling possibilities it offers, the opportunity to explore Shepard much more as a character...IT is fantastic for this, and I am surprised that quite a few don't seem to notice this...I guess the hatred for Bioware, the feeling of being cheated and the dislike for certain members of the IT-faction is too strong for some
Anyway, to each his/her own. I don't like IT, I

But there are plenty of other quirks that make absolutely zero sense to me using Mass Effect 3 only as a reference point. Most of them are seen when Joker bounces, but starting when the squad is shot at by "Harbinger." I'm sorry, but a massive space ship just shot at you and hit close enough to shatter and MELT parts of your armor. You are NOT getting up from that. Your allies are in better shape when they die in the Deleted Scene, even AFTER they go flying off from the explosion. Personally, if my Shepard HAS to die, I'd like it to be then and there. If it takes the full attention of a Sovereign-class Reaper, I call that going out like a Baws. THEN my actions throughout the series could come to fruition. If I was a great leader and gathered everyone from the corners of the galaxy, arm them to the teeth, give them something to hope and fight for, they could press on and wipe out the Reapers, and build a monument in my honor. If I sucked, then they crumble. Etc etc etc.
Long story short: Yes, I believe in (a) Indoctrination Theory.

The literal ending is terrible but I.T. is worse, but that OK because is was never incensed by Bioware and hence will be completely absent from the E.C.

and as a side note I'm by no means talented enough to come up with a decent alternative myself but I do find it quite narrow minded of people to consider IT the only possible way of salvaging the endings, sure I'm kind of pessimistic about the EC and the writing staff have made some big mistakes however there's a reason everyone is so invested in this franchise and to dismiss any possibility that the people who wrote everything we loved before could turn it around without using IT just seems a hasty conclusion to jump to

Bioware needs an ending that both makes sense AND is cohesive with the rest of the narrative.

Should learn proper grammar before you comment on how "poorly written" anything is.
