I'm still stunned that Forbes is the main journalistic viewpoint for those unhappy with the ending.
I also believe that the M-920 Cain should be renamed Kain.
ROFL amazing

Let's not forget. He also enjoyed Broken Steel, which changed the ending of Fallout 3. I think we know what Mr. Moriarty is full of.
He's full of Space Magic!

Geesh this story is all over the place. I even saw an article in the Washington Post about it.
I guess IGN was jealous of Bioware's bad PR and wanted some of their own so they didn't feel left out?

Well done!
I've actually lost all respect for IGN and Gamespot over this situation.
Can anyone recommend any other really good comprehensive game article/review websites?
I've been going to those to since they started, but it's finally dawning on me that their time is over.
Is it weird that I'm starting to seriously consider subscribing to Forbes' magazine?
If you haven't yet, look up Zero Punctuation. He's a freelance reviewer (as in, he's not tied to an actual gaming company that I'm aware of), but his snarky reviews are generally spot on with much of the things I agree with. He also champions the idea that you can enjoy something and criticize it at the same time. Much of Yahtzee's criticism (that is, people criticizing his criticism) comes from the idea that he just nitpicks and looks for reasons to hate games; I personally don't feel that's the case. But make your own judgement.
I second this recommendation. I don't always agree with Yahtzee, but he's usually very upfront about his likes and dislikes. He's caustic and snarky, yet I seldom feel that he's unfair in his criticism.
On topic, kudos to Forbes. I remain impressed by their articles on RetakeME and BioWare.

Not very hard to prove Moriarty is full of it, but it never stops being satisfying to see a more respectable journalist smack him down.
I would say someone should bring this up during the obvious trap IGN ending discussion tomorrow, but he'll probably ignore it outright.

Removed all bookmarks to Gamespot, IGN (damn, IGN has been especially bad and I used to visit them frequently) and so on. I advise all who can afford it to do the same.

I would definitely love to see that.
I most likely won't be at the discussion thing tomorrow. Can't be bothered to make an account with IGN. If for some reason I am there, however, I would definitely bring it up.
