And I think I will avoid IGN from now on. TO repeat a poster above, anyone know of any GOOD game review sites?

I always thought Forbes was just a financial magazine that tells you about 401ks and the price of oil.

This is why I have huge respect for Forbes is articles like these. Just like with the FTC thing they didn't do like many other outlets did and say "Fans" they specifically made sure people knew it was one "Fan".

Ok Kain, come clean, who are you on the message boards, I mean you have to be paying attention to these boards for these pieces.
Either way awesome article, I think I jsut might have to get a subscription to Forbes now lol.

Aside from Starchild, Moriarty may be the most disliked villain to come out of this whole fiasco.
This. I'm glad they called him on his hypocrisy.
Hold the line.

Colin is the only vocal advocate of the ending. Even those who like it are not as passionate as he is. It's a bit sad really it is. The funniest part was how he stated BioWare has lost all integrity.

Moriarty is a worthless hack, clinging on the coat tails of his advertising sponsors.
Not worth the effort, but good to see him slammed down hard regardless.

I still don't like the idea of being charged for something that makes the initial game half finished. Thus, a non-complete experience. Which for BioWare is a bit of a new turn. He's right, it's not new to the industry, but it means BioWare is joining the fray. Which can be seen as good and bad from multiple perspectives.

I have to admit that I have learned volumes about games journalism from this whole discussion about the ending of Mass Effect 3. This new knowledge has changed more than bookmark in my web browser...

It's a financial magazine that cares about good business.
It turns out alienating a strong fanbase that has been with you for years is bad for business, who knew?
