Tbh, Liara having Shepard's baby would have been the perfect ending for me. Of course that one should have still been up to what the players chose throughout the game.

I think the idea is great, except having us play as the kid. It'd be way more awesome to have a LiaraShep kid turn out like Benezia (Spellcheck me, Liaras mom) and be the main antagonist of the next game series. That would be way better than cannoning us into playing an Asari, I prefer Humans.

I'm not an ASARI MEDICAL DOCTOR or anything, but maybe asari can "store" genetic material for later? So perhaps once she mindmelds she can, at some later time, decide to go through with it? I mean, if Shepard is dead and Liara survives, why not have some blue babies? Isn't like Shepard cares. And if Shepard lives, well, I assume Liara would ask. It is possible asari have sliiiightly different traditions when it comes to reproduction, no? Like, in most cases the asari's partner is gonna die while the child is still a child.

I avoided Liara like the plague in ME1 because she kept hitting ON (thanks virgil) my Shepard, it was painful really.
However I still like the character, I'm just paranoid I'll fall into a romance with her on accident. She does seem kind of forced on you, but so do a lot of the other characters (Jacob? *shudder*)
