However would be kind of interesting if it created an entrance to a new RPG where you could play as all the races. Such as:
Blue little children.
Adopting Jona the Quarian.
rrrrrrrr no wait I gotta stop there. Shepard never lives to adopt a Quarian or a Krogan, or drell, or hanar, or vorcha. ****, screw my theory for shepards sons/daughters.

Liara was REALLY dedicated towards that time capsule and preserving Shepard's legacy.

a lot of little blue children.Shadowstalker79 wrote...
OK... just thought of this. Even if you were one of those players that NEVER took Liara as a LI, it really feels like the writing team push her character on you through all 3 games as maybe the CANON LI. If you did take her as the LI in game 1 and got to love her up again in the shadow broker DLC, then those of you know what im tlking about as you all have seen how the love interaction with her takes place. You are as one, just kind of out there in space looking over the universe. WELL... in game 3 just before the end battle on Earth, she asks you if she can... do something. You can say sure or turn her down. If you let her, she does her little mind meld thing, her eyes go black and you are again like in the love senes standing with her in space watching over the universe. Afterward she looks at you and smiles as if she got you! what if this was her way of making that little way for them to start another series or spin off of Liara having the next Shepard? Asari Shepard who in any game can now have anyone or thing as a LI lol Makes sense to me.
What do you guys think?
/approved.

It looks like a new ME 3 romance, because she doesn't talk about the little blue babies.Bama wrote...
Ah ok, here's the romance version:

You should ask her what the gift is. She explains it. Hint: No, she's not knocking herself up.
It's hopeful speculation, but I think it was what she says it was: a way to share memories (or something). To me, making those blue children would happen a little more graphically than that.
Asari mate by joining nervous systems and reading the partners dna and taking the bits they like and recode it into Asari dna. Liara explains that it doesent have to be physical in ME1.

Liara was last seen traveling the Frostback Mountains, possibly with child.
I play in German language and the funny thing is that Morrigan and Liara do have the same voice actor.

Liara:"...btw, I'm pregnant"
Shepard: *chokes on his coffee*
Or something like that.

Crimey, by all reports Liara is essentially still the Asari equivalent of a Teenager, living a relatively peaceful life as an Archaeologist when she gets attacked by robots, only to have a daring space captain dash in to her rescue and while her off on an adventure to save the Galaxy. She's clearly enamored, but he doesn't return the feelings. He dies, and she arranges to have him brought back from the dead. She forgoes putting her efforts into saving her own people, or herself, to help him. And then she writes his name in the historical records she seeds across the galaxy - a final memento for the future of galaxy if all civilization is annihilated, and he's a major entry.
Notice that a non-LI Liara never hooks up with anyone else, not even Feron despite the apparent chemistry there?
That's right. Even if she's not your LI, she's still in love with Shepard. Non-LI Liara has been friend-zoned by Captain Amazing.
And that scene? They're both very likely to die the next day. It's one final, sad piece for a love that would never be, one final moment of rest for a girl who gave so much and got next to nothing in return. And even then, it's a gift to Shepard.
And you guys want it to be a rape?
Goddamn man, if you want there to be people getting violated, just play 20 more minutes and watch the ending.

That said, I really don't think that's what happened, tho she DOES touch Shepard pretty affectionately after that scene, even if she's not the LI. She's just...infatuated...I hope. >_>'
Liara and I are "just...friends", much to her disappointment, but we're good friends, and it's the end of the world as we know it.

WTH is with you people?! It is NOT okay to take someone's biological material to get yourself pregnant WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT. No, I'm not cool with that. SHE WASN'T MY LOVE INTEREST, no matter how clingy Bioware made her. She better not have. She was my friend, but, if she'd done something like that, I may or may not flay her alive with my mind. =_=

They don't take biological material from the "father".
I can see why people would be scoffing at this, but if you had her romanced in 1, 2 + LotSB, and 3 it's not some out of this world inappropriate question. She does talk about your future blue children right before she does it.

So, having Liara sneak and stealing some of your DNA through a harmless transference of energy is considered as some kind of intergalactic form of rape, but the forced synthesis of an entire galaxy against their will is somehow noble and heroic?
This is why Destroy option is Best option.
Though all Liara needed to do was ask. >_>
