FIrst: You need to complete at least 2 Major-questlines(Circle, Dalish, Orzammar or Redcliffe+UotSA)

Second: If you let Wade make 2 Drakeskins, Herren(the motherf*cking a*shole) wont trade with you anymore.
Im not sure about it, but there could be the possibility of making 1 Drakearmor and the Dragonarmor; he should still trade with you as long as you dont want the sup. Drakearmor.
If you pay the first time 10g the Dragonarmor will be superior.

The safest is: Horde some money while doing, lets say, Mage Circle and Redcliffe+UotSA.
Then go to Denerim and buy the Felons Coat.

IF YOU NEED:- sup. Drakeskin: PAY NOTHING and sell the crappy version and the Dragon Massive armor for some free money.

-Dragonarmor: pay only once the 10g(first or second time) for getting the superior version and sell the 2 Drakeskinarmor-sets.

>>Wow. That is totally f---ing retarded. I'd like to shove a dog turd down the throat of whatever ****** wrote this into the game.<<

Well, it is a computer Role Playing game - which means you don't always get what you want ... the npcs have reactions too. It is not as though you couldn't see it coming, they way the proprietor kept getting angrier and angrier with each piece. If you weren't able to see the signs, perhaps you should be eating that meal yourself.

Herren or whatever his name is gets annoyed with you after you bring in the 2nd set of drake scales iirc, the only reason you get Wade to make the Dragon scale is because you get to mention that you have them in which case Wade intervenes and makes them giving Herren no chance to refuse to serve you. But he still basically hates you. I think the idea is that all his time has been spent on making your armor, which is why when Wade turns the Dragon Armor around in next to no time ie. PC don't have to exit shop; he is completely stunned, at this point Wade goes on sabbatical, so no new armor is made and Herren considers you the cause of the shop being shut up. Therefore it isn't retarded, you just need to get the coat before you ****** Herren off ;)

I've only briefly heard about this coat just recently after 2 playthroughs, never really thought to look at herren's wares after the first look at them. On 3rd playthrough am on now I think I'll go look see what the fuss is about

The weird thing is that I get the impression that this is Wade's business and that Herren is just his employee. How can he refuse to sell you stuff? Wade should just tell him "Shut up and serve the customers"

I thought the trigger for the felon's coat was the first suit of armor. So the process is like ...

get drakescales -> have armor made (pay 10g for tip) -> buy felon's coat -> have armor made (pay 20g for tip) -> get dragon scale -> have dragon armor made -> shop closes

If you don't pay the tip either time, the shop will close after the second set of armor.

I bought my Felon's Coat before I ever started the Urn quest...

I dont like that "Hey its an RPG"- posts.

IF THIS WOULD BE AN RPG THEN HERREN WOULDNT LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO PI*S ME OFF!

And i would take the armor AND all his money from his cold hands.

*full stop*

Perhaps you should eat it with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

If it were a "role-playing game" I would have slit the bastard's throat and robbed the store.
