I hope you're right. Since I finished ME3 i was hoping that this is just a begging of the epic ME series ending. Bioware responses however led me to believe that current endings are in fact what they intended but we will see what will they show us in april...

I see your points and I agree, but I don't see how it would backfire at this point. I beleive the reaction would be so positively good from the now appeased fans and so vocal in their love and respect for the company that it would build long lasting support.

I can totally see "Okay, BioWare, you've strung me around and played with my emotions, made me appear as a fool, increased my heart tension, but I SO love you right now" when the ending DLC is released !

Will I feel sorry if the theory get shot down? Nope. Because the only way to shoot it down is if we get either a different ending completely that fill in gaps or they just explain stuff where there are no gaps, or they use IT so really, everyone wins either way. True or not once it's proven either way, we should all be happy with a new, complete, or better ending.

More ME = win either way I guess is what I am saying.  

No.  Spending 12+ hours on these forums every day and wasting time in pointless debates turned you into a ******, not other people.  If you let others affect you then you are weak, and not in control of yourself.

It's pretty sad that we have to emphasize the "woulds", "possiblies", "love/want", etc when talking about this.  It should be clear in it being a theory that it isn't a fact.

I'm starting to believe they are master storytellers. There's too much in the indoc theory for it to just be bad script writing. I believe the DLC will kick ass. I just hope it isn't expensive

Just read Ray's blog post.
Dev team is upset with the uproar and consider re-making (or whatever) the endings.
The endings were supposed to be final.
Just open your eyes...

Incorrect. Bioware aren't immortal writing gods. I haven't seen a good plot twist from them since KOTOR. Indoctrination theory is interesting, but false. Well, in april the theorists can move on to the next stage.

Bioware never intended a lot of things, according to them they never intended to pi** off there hardcore loyal fan base either but they did. As I said before I don't care either way if it's true or faulse I just want the ending fixed, but if they do choose to go that way then it would make sense. It would also give Bioware solid ground to work on a fix for the ending, my hopes though will never be raised again for Bioware, you'd have thought they'd have learned from the DA2 backlash but they didn't.

I agree that it started on his end and people were very civil towards him for the most part, but that's behind us now.  No one should be bringing it back up anymore.  No victim cards, no he said/she said.  End of line .  

Anyways, MassEffected, I agree with your post regarding the outlook on this.

Some of you need to stop holding the line and get back to reality.

The hard truth of the matter is that the current endings we have are the intended ones, whether or not because they were rushed or because bioware honestly thought they made a good ending.

The argument put forward in the video is one that is clutching at straws at best. In the author's defense though, the video is cleverly put together, several moments he puts two unrelated scenes and combines them together in a way that makes them look related. You see this all the time on youtube, usually in conspiracy videos about things like the Illuminati.

We haven't been given an absolute definitely yes or no yet. I've seen some hints towards the theory and some against. I hope this was their plan, but I don't think it was.

Just have to wait until we hear something in April about what they've planned.

Just to clarify- read my post titles - What Happens After the Indoc Theory. I was having a nice discussion with a bunch of people and your buddy Thiax comes in and starts instulting me. From that point on I became a ****** because I lost my patience. So while i was wrong for taking the bait, I was the one baited by someone in your crowd.


Anyway, let it go. Like I said my bad for lowering myself to that dudes level and letting it get the better of me.

I'm not going to troll instead I'm going to try and say this as nicely as possible. I strongly disagree with the video and the entire idea of the indoctrination theory. The evidence contradicts with each other, clashes, and makes no sense logically, not to mention it's literally a writers taboo in most cases. The "And then he woke up" ending is a cheap one and one that most people tend to avoid especially towards a giant 3 series trilogy. I just don't feel the indoctrination theory is right and most of the evidence seems like forcing puzzle pieces in where they don't fit.

Yeah, well, this is only wishful thinking until it's confirmed. Don't state it as a fact, and don't take it for granted. They can make it work cause it fits, but I'm damn near certain it wasn't the plan.

That is actually a good point I didn't think about. If Indoc was right, then the gaming sites wouldn't be part of the "conspiracy".

Also, if indoc theory was correct, bioware would not be so antagonistic to their fans over this situation.  Even their most recent official apology ends with an insult to their player base and makes it very clear that they feel they are the victims of a misunderstanding.

According final hours, Bioware was trying implement indoctrination for final sequence, but was cumbersome. They probably changed and tried to deceive the player using colorful endings ... making players believe controlling the reapers is good ... I mean, I dont trust the reapers, what if they were controlling me all this time .... destroy ending has special ending at high EMS ... it is shown right after Joker fleeing scene ... Stargrazer saying one more story ... then Mass Effect twitter is saying hold out to your saves .... either this is planned or our bull that our minds couldnt accept the current endings....PAX they will announced DLC that will CLARIFY the endings --- meaning they could show it was all dream or indoc ... plot twist at its best ... The hardcore fans who figured out indoctrination theory .... I will definitely buy more ME products as long as Shepard is there
